What a beautiful garden. I wish I had more time to stay and walk around. I came for a class called “Breathe with Trees”. I was in Florida for 10days from NC watching my son and DIL kittens while they were on vacation. This was one of the things I chose to experience while in Florida. So glad that I did. Our guide was wonderful. Soft spoken, educated, very informative and kind. We spoke afterwards a bit and shared a little bit on where we may want to travel or visit/move in the future. We never know how our paths may turn or twist. Mead Botanical Garden has a beautiful volunteer garden that contains beautiful perennials and trees and bushes that attract pollinators. I loved watching all the “flutter-bys” AKA butterflies and bees enjoying and working hard. The tree niche is a great area to cool off under and just close your eyes and do some deep breathing. Like I said, I wish I had more time to spend that morning. However, on my return visit, I will come back to Mead Botanical Garden and stay for a while in awe of all the beauty that is found there. I don’t believe I took one photo that day as I just took it all in with my eyes and enjoyed the moment I was in. Felt more calm and relaxed when I left. Thank...

If you want a thrill, there's even a small hill that you can walk down and up near the big stage. (When you live in Florida you get excited about even the smallest change in elevation!)
As you walk towards the north east corner of the park (following the little stream), you'll find a broken-down boardwalk to the left of the path. It's half-heartedly blocked off but, if you don't mind throwing caution to the wind, it's really fun! If you like a bit of an obstacle course (and don't mind the possibility of getting your feet wet) then I highly recommend trying it out!
