As a photographer, I had the pleasure of shooting at Mead Botanical Gardens, and I must say, it's an absolutely beautiful location. The gardens are bursting with colorful flowers, towering trees, and tranquil water features, providing a stunning backdrop for any photoshoot. One of the things I loved most about this venue is the variety of settings available for photography. From the winding paths and lush foliage to the charming bridges and gazebos, there's no shortage of unique and picturesque spots to capture the perfect shot. In addition, the staff at Mead Botanical Gardens were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and allowing me to focus on getting the best photos possible. Overall, I highly recommend Mead Botanical Gardens to any photographer looking for a beautiful and versatile location for their next shoot. It's truly a hidden gem that's not to be missed!

Wow awesome little gem in winterpark. Had no clue it was back there. Very large and spacious park with a lake and some creeks and several flower gardens and sitting areas and trails to explore. Plenty to see and explore. Great for a variety of activities and pictures for photography settings. Did a maternity shoot here for my friend and we got a wide range of options to choose from for her to pose at. Very well kept and maintained grounds bursting with lots of animals birds and insect lovers rejoice. I saw many bird species I didn't typically see including some loon and some native solitary pollinators that you rarely see enjoying the flowers. There are several bird feeders and bird houses in the park as well. The park itself is very humid. So keep that in mind when you come here. I'm sure early in the morning before the heat of the day would be the best time to come as the summer months progress.

Love this hidden gem in the heart or Winter Park. Quiet, quaint and tucked away from all the rush from the city. The variety of plants is fantastic, and the volunteers who garden the greenhouse and surrounding area do a fantastic job and are always so nice. My wife and I often sneak a visit here and it's always been a go to for both of us for a quick escape to pure nature. The variety of animals here is fantastic. If you are real quiet as you walk through the park you may be surprised what you may find in such a small area. We have spotted grasshoppers, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, cardinals, blue jays, egrets, herons, anhingas, turtles, squirrels, cats, snakes, owls, hawks, falcons, fish, frogs, toads, bats, and even an otter. A slice of untampered Orlando.

First time coming here, I definitely wanted to get away from alot of the touristy overpopulated parts of the Orlando area and escape somewhere beautiful to clear my mind. Sure, it's a popular place but there was hardly any people here. This place is definitely worth coming here, there's so many amazing plants, nature and vast scenery to explore where your walk could feel like you're in a garden to a bayou to open fields. There's a garden too off in the distance. How could I forget the little theaters too for various events! My only thing I didn't like about my time here is that there seems to be old boardwalk trails but they are apparently cut off from everything and just left there rotting away. I'd like to see that hopefully reopened.

Very peaceful self guided tour. I visited early on a week day so there weren't many visitors. A good thing because I was able to truly enjoy the sights and sounds of nature undisturbed! Beautiful flower gardens. Nice variety of trees. Plenty of shaded areas with picnic tables or benches. A considerable amount of space between picnic tables so that families/groups can have privacy enjoying each other's company. Lawns are well manicured. Wetlands are well preserved. A few areas are under construction but nothing major that would hinder the experience! Public restrooms available. I highly recommend this as a stop for anyone who enjoys nature.
