I have been going to this anytime fitness for a few years now and finally are getting around to sharing my thoughts. I absolutely love it and would recommend it to everyone in the area.
Let's be real: it's not the biggest gym in the world (or Orlando) and has a more focused set of equipment. However, not everyone wants and/or needs a tanning bed, pool, basketball court, smoothie bar, rock climbing wall, or other ancillary items at their gym. Those things tend to make those gyms more crowded anyways.
They have all the standard equipment you'd expect to find at a more focused gym, and it's all well-maintained by their staff and Kevin (who does a phenomenal job of running the gym and helping out his patrons). The training staff is also all phenomenal as well!
In terms of actual cardio/weight lifting, this place definitely has what you need if you only want and/or care about getting a great workout in without all that extra fluff. I've more than doubled my strength level in terms of pounds and also take the time to utilize their many cardio machine offerings. Plus, unless you go at peak busy hour times, you're unlikely to find any waits for equipment, which is great.
Because it's more focused, the membership is actually really competitive versus other gyms in the area, which means you won't be paying 5-10+ dollars more a month for a pool you've never been in.
Pros: Great staff that's always willing to assist Great location for locals (walking distance for a ton of the direct area, including myself) Never crowded at all Well maintained equipment Focused set of equipment that gets you what you need without fluff that you gotta pay for Priced very affordably Ability to go 24/7 or to any other location without paying more!! Group training classes available if you don't want to commit to a personal one (I do recommend the personal ones if you're just beginning your workout journey; it made a big difference for me)

I joined Anytime Fitness of Winter Park last August 26th, 2022 as it was only a few minutes from my house and opened 24hrs. I committed to hiring a personal trainer to help me get back in shape, get my legs ready for skiing ☺️and back to running. Well. In just five months, Joe has helped me accomplished so much more than I thought I could do. Read moreI started coming to Anytime Fitness at 400lbs and immediately felt welcomed and not judged and had fitness made accessible to me, including nutrition advice accessible to my ADHD brain that prefers one meal a day so I don’t have to think about fueling my body more than just once a day. I was met where I am at, instead of judged or being forced to change something that is hard for me to change. Instead I was taught how to eat healthy in a way that works for what I am already doing.
Carlos gave me advice and encouragement that has changed my life for the better. I’m almost 60lbs down in a total of 8months. I still have a long way to go. But I am seeing progress and able to be more active without pain.
I highly recommend Carlos for people who have a strained relationship with food, because he doesn’t promote harmful diet culture or fads. And frames diet in such a way that truly equates to being fuel and how to even achieve feeling satiated without losing track of your overall goals.
