Today, JUNE 1/2019 was the official opening day, along with the ribbon cutting ceremony, of Neabsco Creek Boardwalk of Woodbridge, Prince William County. IT FINALLY HAPPENED! It is an amazing place to see, visit and experience! For yourself, your family, kids, as well as the loved ones!!! It is indeed an absolutely stunning location with it's own ecosystem. The one that provides a unique and, truly, one of a kind experience of walking right on the top of the wetlands! Birds, beavers, muscrats, cranes, toads, red winged blackbirds, frogs and a plethora of other species of animal and insect kingdom are all here. Whether you are a nature enthusiast, or just wanting to unplug your mind from the routines of a daily life — YOU...

Side note: The only thing that bothers me when we visit is what little regard some of the visitors have for nature. Seeing discarded masks, water bottles, over the sides of the boardwalk itself can be disheartening.
Bottom line: Visit regularly across the seasons to get a real taste for what the boardwalk...
