Lamar Park — Attraction in Wyoming

We love Lamar park and the nice 9 hole Disc Golf Course they have. It is one of the nicest 9 hole courses around this area. Along with other 9 hole courses near this area and the Awesome 18 hole course @Johnson Park right around the corner. Lamar park has a lot to offer to our community, Concerts in the park, Splash pad and nice toys sets,rock climbing, Tennis, soccer field and Baceball. Also a nice Volleyball area and a great Fireworks display every year now. So with all that said we love the park. And if you're playing Disc golf and are in need of some new Discs and apparel. Come see our friends at Frisci Disc golf pro shop just east of Lamar park off porter st. in the small strip mall, and we invite you to also visit our other neighborhood Business friend's in the area. Just attended a group picnic here. It was my first time in this park. The grounds are kept up well, with lots of parking. Loved all the ponds and was surprised at how quiet it was there for being in the city. Bathrooms are available and clean, but a lot of spiderwebs were still hanging from the ceiling, so another cleaning needs to be done. Water comes out of the faucets with such force that you need to stand away from the sink or you will get wet and the hand dryers are worthless so...

I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the music was entertaining i would recommend this Park for all your family and friends👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 gatherings....this summer I've been looking forward to every Tuesdays when they have a live band. You can either sit in your car and listen to the music or bring lawn chairs for up close view, food/drinks and ice cream available and not let me forget that you can even bring your pet🐶.
