I can't say enough good things about The Common Thread Studio! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and Courtney, the owner, is the most kind, patient teacher you could ask for. Each class is thoughtfully designed, ensuring that children not only learn valuable sewing skills but also have fun in the process. My daughter started with beginner level classes and continued to advance to more difficult projects, and enjoyed them all! She has gained so much confidence while making beautiful projects, and the supportive environment encourages every student to express their creativity. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Common Thread Studio! I took the adult beginner class and I have no experience sewing with a machine. I walked in with no confidence in regard to sewing. The class size was small on the day I went. The teacher, Marisa, was wonderful, friendly, and so welcoming! I took an adult beginner's sewing class and it was such a welcoming experience. The studio space was bright, clean, and inspiring, and it was fun to look at all the projects and kits laying around. Our instructor was very patient, and answered my many questions and even let me wind some extra bobbins for practice because we had spare time.
