Lemon Tree Spa — Attraction in Yorba Linda

I was misled that this salon offers prenatal massage. But they don’t! No prenatal massage table! They expected me to sleep on my hips, which is very uncomfortable for a pregnant woman. So I had no choice but to get the foot massage in the common area which is super loud and distracting. I’ve never ever experienced such a low quality massage and service in my life. The staff are nice, but they are far from professionals. The foot massage is completely different from other spas. They didn’t even touch my hands, shoulders, or back. The technician just rubbed my feet (barely touched my calves) for straight 1 hour till my skin became sensitive, painful and was about to come off from all the tension between gloves and my feet. Then the technician didn’t even bother to remove the oil throughly from my feet. She just rubbed a rough hot towel on my sensitive skin and then I had to walk with slippery feet. Not safe, not pleasant, and definitely not relaxing. Be aware that the foot massage is kinda like getting a cheap painful pedicure. This was my third and last visit. The first time I came here it was excellent. The massage was awesome and Sherry was very professional. The second time I came the massage was just okay. This third time was terrible! The girl giving my massage was actually very good, and it might have been relaxing if she wasn't answering the phone and booking appointments during my massage. When I asked her if somebody else could answer the phone, she told me she was in charge of the phone. There were NINE interruptions during my hour long massage. Between the phone calls and noisy employees, I not only couldn't relax and enjoy it, I was actually getting very angry and keyed up. At the end of the service, no discount or free return was even offered. When I asked to speak to the manager she told me that the manager was off and there was nobody to talk to except her. My daughter and I went in together under a gift certificatesomeone bought for us. It was a nice atmosphere calm and relaxing and seemed clean and Professional. 60 min full body massage was just really one of the best experiences! Told her how bad my sciatic nerve was and she was very sympathetic and worked around it not to overdo it but to work that( periformis muscle) I think it's called... which would help loosen up on sciatic nerve .
