I am loath to praise this delightful park too much, lest it attract too much attention.
It's really quite simple: it's a nicely groomed seaside park perched on a hillside overlooking a beach. The park features pleasant but not ostentatious flowers and bushes, is delightfully shaded and is criss cut by a meandering trail. At the bottom of the trail you can opt for A) a left hand turn that will take you on a1/4 mile long walk along the edge of the cliffs, leading out too the ocean, or B) a right hand turn leading to the York Harbor swimming beach.
The beach is neither large nor unique, and with minimal sand. But it's quiet compared to the more touristy spots, and it offers public bathrooms (always a plus).
The parking at the beach is by permit only, but there is a fair number of on street spots adjacent to the park. There aren plenty of beaches, cliff walks and shaded parks, but not many spots that combine all three....

You may have to walk for a little while to get to the park 🏞️, but, I found it worth it. If you walk the cliff walk, be careful!! There is poison ivy! Also, no handrails for most of the walk. Only one person wide. Not for the disabled. Open sunrise 🌄 to sunset 🌇. I recommend a visit! We are coming back to check out...
