Deck at Dockside — Restaurant in York

If you want an $11 beer served in a plastic cup this place is for you. The first trick is they list no prices on the drink menu so if you don’t ask you will have a big surprise when the bill comes. I do agree that the view and atmosphere is nice however there are so many other places along the York coast that offer as good or better views with reasonable drink prices. Many of them also have Happy Hour during certain hours and days of the week. So again, if you like paying $11 for a beer in a plastic cup definitely check this place out they will be glad to...

The staff was attentive, the food was average, the atmosphere was to be expected for the location (they were pulling boats out of the water during our time there) and the prices were excessive! A daily rate sheet or the staff mentioning it was $36/lobster roll might save someone some disappointment in the future. Lesson learned- we should have asked what "market price" were for all items when ordering. We can now say we tried the spot and will likely take our business to another waterside atmosphere spot in town to enjoy more reasonably...

Very disappointing food overall. We ordered salad, fish, burger which came with onion rings. There was no taste in salad, arugula , onions, feta, tomatoes, nothing had any taste at all. Subaru Burger and onion rings came coated with a very thick crust not the usual light weight crispy batter which by itself isn't a problem but the taste was not better. Disconnected staff, not bothered if we liked the food or not. Very unusual for any 4.5 star rated place we have ever eaten in. Won't recommend unless all you want is the view...
