I was referred to Headlines Spa by my niece, who spoke very highly of your services, but unfortunately, my experience did not meet those expectations.
My appointment was cancelled just one day before due to the stylist falling ill. While I understand that these situations can happen, the timing was extremely stressful as I had a wedding to attend the following day. I requested to be rescheduled with anyone available, as it was my first visit and I didn’t have a preference.
Eventually, I was told I could come in at 8:00 AM the next morning. I arrived on time, but the stylist didn’t show up until 8:20 due to personal reasons. We then spent around 20 minutes discussing what I wanted done. I was surprised to be told afterward that there wouldn't be enough time for a blowout because of the time spent in consultation. I explained how important the blowout was due to the wedding and ended up going to the register with wet hair, quite stressed and disappointed.
Thankfully, the front desk staff spoke with the stylist, and I was told the blowout would be done after all — which was a relief. However, when I went to pay, I was charged $300. This seemed unusually high, especially considering that my sister had a similar service the day before and was only charged around $200.
Later in the day, the stylist called to inform me I was accidentally overcharged and $80 was refunded. While I appreciate the correction, I’m still left unhappy with the experience overall. The color did not fully cover my grays, and I wasn’t pleased with the haircut either.
What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable experience turned into a very stressful and disappointing one. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as I truly wanted to become a regular client based on my niece’s glowing...
Read moreThis was my first ever facial and massage session ever! My best friend booked this for me as part of my bachelorette. Walking in I had absolutely zero expectations for what to expect.
First of all, this place is easy to find and has a convenient parking lot. The ladies at the front desk were super nice. We were taken to a lounge where we could get some drinks.
The lights were low and they had soothing music playing. It was an overall peaceful ambiance.
I was brought into a dim room with peaceful music and told to change. Tori came in shortly after, she applied many products. She had such a gentle voice. I almost fell asleep hearing her talk. After the facial, I could see my face physically glowing. She was incredible.
I was then brought back to the lounge while they prepped the room for my massage.
Jill was my massage therapist, she was also very soft spoken and kind. She gave me a deep tissue massage for my entire body. This is the second time I almost fell asleep. She focused on the parts of my body that were extremely tense. My shoulders and lower back feel better than ever before. I didn't even realize how tight my shoulders were until I got a massage.
Overall it was an incredible experience, I felt rejuvenated, peaceful, and relaxed. My only issue is that the bed in room 1 wasn't warming up. I felt quite cold. Jill even put the heat up to the highest but it was still cold. The only warm parts were the ones warmed by my body. Jill put some warming cloths/bags to keep me warm and that helped a lot.
Despite that, I can definitely see myself coming back again and again because both ladies were incredible. I highly recommend Tori and Jill for a peaceful and comforting spa day! If I could give them...
Read moreGood salon, horrible customer service. I booked an appointment to get my hair dyed and trimmed, they decided to call my mother after I booked to confirm the appointment despite them having my birthday from the booking and knowing I'm turning 25 next month. I called Headlines to let them know to take my mother off their computer system and they denied that my mom's information was ever there - I asked them, "so my mother was just magically called?" and they said that the number was recently changed to mine and that now my number was the only number in the system. Not 15 minutes later do I get a call from Headlines that starts off with "so, I just got off the phone with your mom and..." so I cut them off and asked how they just got off the phone with my mom when I just called to confirm my mom's number wasn't attached to my account anymore. They seemed to not know the answer to that and I asked them to refund my money. Thank God I was just going to go in to get my hair dyed and that I wasn't going to go get a bikini wax or something, because evidently if you've been to this salon at any point as a teenager, that means that until the end of time they'll have to call to check in with your mom to make sure it's okay to provide services even when you're fully grown and you've explicitly told them to take your mother's phone number off your profile. Either that, or they're completely honest people who deserve to have kudos sent to their reception staff for having the best eidetic memory in history because they're able to remember someone's mother's phone number...
