This is so sad to see this animal suffer like this. Extremely matted and overweight. It can barely see and breathe and it was 100 degrees out. I can't imagine how poorly these animals are being treated. I hope something is done about this or this is shutdown. I will not being coming back here with my little cousins or friends.

A great visual look at Pioneertown past. The museum is open most days and very informative with lots of memorabilia. Pioneertown used to developed by actors and producers at the peak of western film making in the 1940s. Today residents live in the movie set homes and films and Commercials are still filmed here.

It’s a good place to stop and learn! The small Museum is a charming little stop with fascinating history. It’s small but it has interesting exhibits about the old western film sets and the area's Hollywood connections. A great spot for film buffs or anyone interested in the history of the desert.
