I recently visited Soukie Modern while wandering through Pioneertown and found a sweater I fell in love with for a gift for a family member. The quality was fantastic and the price was more than fair.

Soukie Modern in Pioneertown is such a special place! I took a workshop there and have not stopped raving about the experience to anyone who will listen. It was cool learning about the history of berber rug weaving and testing out the different techniques. Taib made a small loom for me and allowed me to select whatever yarn I wanted.
