Love this campground. We stay here whenever we come to town for a show at Pappy and Harriet’s. It’s on the Main Street of Pioneertown, so you are walkable to Pappy and Harriet’s (awesome concert venue with food and drinks), Red Dog Saloon (great live music and food and drinks), Pioneer Bowl, and several cute shops. There is a two-bathroom building on site, although the camp encourages all paper to go into the trashcans. Trash cans and picnic tables at each site. I recommend bringing earplugs just because you are so central in the town to music and the birds can be noisy. Plenty of sites and space to choose how close you want to be with neighbors. Easy to check-in with Kenneth at their store. We will be back!

Camping is $10 per person. Great deal if you go by yourself, maybe not so much if you take the whole family. Cash only. There is an ATM machine in Pappy and Harriet’s. Just a few seconds walk to Pappy’s from here. It would be a fun and inexpensive and very close place to stay after seeing a concert there. There are locked up flush toilets and sinks that the host said he would unlock, but he never did. There are a few port-a-potties around the site. No cell signal there, I camped close to Pappy’s and was able to connect to their open WiFi. In July it is too hot with not much cover. Get in after it cools off and get out before it heats up. In Spring and Fall it is probably a nicer stay.

Awesome campground right behind Pioneertown! Plenty of space, nice facilities and one of the only rv spots in the area. Quick walk into Pioneertown in the morning to enjoy a sunrise over the movie set all to yourself. 10/10 would recommend

An amazing place with history of the old west and Hollywood merged into a single setting where movie making took place in California. This location was used in filming many western movies. The location is a premier vacation trap for tourists and...
