Sunrise Park — Attraction in Yukon

My child and I love to come here for the splash pad mainly, the playground is ok yet needs attention.

The splash pad is fun and good amount of variety with play in the pad area. It seems to have adequate maintenance and is almost always clean and kept up well.

It seems at times to have lower pressure or limited flow of water with the splash pad, unsure if this is time of day or just random.

They have bathrooms nearby and fairly adequate, covered bench/picnic areas. They have gazebo/covered event or party seating areas also, I have never used for a party or event however would assume these areas require reservation.

All in all, really enjoy the safety, convenience and fun of the splash...

Can we talk about the bathrooms here for the little girls and women? Its absolutely disgusting and never maintained. I cant even sit down and never allow my children to either. There is no toilet seat. Its looks just like a metal toilet in a jail cell. I expect more out of this community and from our parks and recreation services... ive never seen anything like this at any other park anywhere. There arent even mirrors either. Its not well ventilated and its extremely hot during a hot summer day and the whole situation is u comfortable. I hope this problem can...

Very cute place. Splash pad is not huge but a decent size. There is plenty of sitting areas that have coverings. The water was not cold either. The bathrooms were as clean as it could be being at a park. There is also good parking and a playground across the parking lot. So you could play at the playground and then go to the splash pad. Be careful though because some of the ground around the splash pad by the seating areas are very slick. Advised...
