We were heading to a wedding reception across the street at Olive or Twist when one member of our party had an outfit emergency (tear in a jumpsuit). We stopped into Fresh Nostalgia to ask for a needle and thread or to possibly find another outfit. We were met with the kind and amiable owner. She not only provided us with a needle and thread to match the jumpsuit, but she dropped what she was doing to sew the jumpsuit back together for us. We offered her money, but she refused to accept. Well. I’m a single mom. Don’t have time to shop. Don’t have time to enjoy shopping anymore (THERE WAS ONCE A TIME. . ..)

Also, I’m desperately in need of a wardrobe update (see above). So what I like about this shop is that I know I can drop in every month or so and I WILL find a gem.
