El Merosi Theater — Attraction in Samarkand City

As the title suggests, "THEATER OF HISTORICAL COSTUME" is a show that introduces costumes from each era, rather than telling a story. The performance lasted one hour. There were many different characters, each with their own gorgeous costumes. Although a simple explanation was given on the signage on the stage, there was only background music and no explanation of the scenes or circumstances. As a result, it can be hard to tell the difference between the scenes, and you may get bored of watching it.

This is billed as a “Spectacle of Historical Costume.” It was a sequinned spectacle with costumes that have little to do with history. One ensemble included hot pink iridiscent sweatshirts and harem pants with tinsel draping across the women dancers’ faces instead of fabric veils or silver jewelery.
