A fun, rather than learning experience if you do with the right people. We booked through our hotel, the other people there were in groups too. There was a short talk about the history of the company before the tasting. The guide from another group translated for the English speakers. Out of 10 wines 5 were sweet, 2 brandies, one liqueur and three standard wines. There was an opportunity to purchase bottles of the tested drinks. We paid 50,000 soums each, which was considerably cheaper than prices advertised on various websites. Recommended if not taken too seriously.

Small yet pleasant museum to get a taste of Uzbek wine culture. The administration is difficult to deal with, for they discourage foreign visitors. For example, payment is only in cash, and they made me go back twice to attend the wine tasting session. The first time they told me there was no space and that should come back for the next session, which I did, only to be told the same. After much persistence, I managed to get into the wine tasting session, which was conducted by...
