Anti-customer practices are rampant. Been coming here all the times for a long long time, since it's first opened. Yet the management just keeps finding new ways and pricing strategies to exclude existing customers. The bad and inconsiderate practices are numerous. After my first visit, I asked if they have a monthly/quarterly membership program, and suggested they install water coolers in the private onsen areas for their customers. Both requests took them a year to implement. Meanwhile, they started to remove the post 5pm discount (onsen ticket used to cost 200k Vnd, and 150k after 5pm, since they used to close at 8pm), then this month March 2023 they removed the onset separate ticket completely. If you dont like their waterpark portion and only come for onsen, they will not OPEN to you. And the membership? They just started that as well. Except it's only applied to families with 2 parents and 2 kids. If you have 3 adults in your party, sorry they dont accept that. If you have 3 kids with you, and you being a single guardian, they wont let you in either. Now they also close the facility at 7pm. Back when they had closed at 8pm, they actually start turning off all running waters and heaters at 7pm, 1hour before closing. I asked that they kept the water on for their customers many times to no avail. Management is simply ignorant of customers's needs and feedbacks. Instead they try vain and ridiculous experiments that I and many found harder and harder to accept. My requests to meet management in person, or to share feedback with any manager online all ended up in dead ends. They are simply out of the loop. They have zero management experience, let alone managing an onsen facility. I doubt anyone in this management team actually know anything about onsen. This onsen facility used to be my most delightful experience. I showed it and the onsen experience to many friends and family members and we all had great experience. But now I no longer see this place as welcoming and relaxing. I promise not to visit this place again, until a better management replaces the current incompetent and ignorant one. I would rather not going to onsen, and staying at a different hotel/resort rather than supporting the plethora of insensitive and damaging management at this place. The onsen was great. But the management just keeps ruining...
Read moreI visited as Hotel guest of the mikazuki resort. At a first glance this is a good water park from the design perspective. However there are many things that negate it to 1 star effectively: the lifeguard army (you can also call them fun police) has an opinion just about everything you do. Annoying... the weight and height limitations of the slides are too strict and frankly they are stupid too. A certain weight combined with certain height when you anyway need to use the double rings and accompany the child is stupid. Sorry to say so but plainly stupid. My son is 127cm and 29kg which violates minimum weight for the slide by 1 kg again the weight limits are stupid. I am above on the other hand but my son who is too light and me who is too heavy cannot go together. My toenails rolled up. In other words a shitshow so after you realize you cannot use the slides all that is left is the baby play area with 3 mediocre slides and a wave bath with small waves. How boring. So here the fun police kicks in in ways you are supposed to walk or play. Also in the wave bath onsen on top has too little spots for putting your stuff play area for kids is ok for 1-2 hours but even here the fun police is coming to remind me not to lay down in the kids area to read while watching the kids. Also my kids got reminded to not run. Haha. No fun allowed here.
While it could have been great, please work on realistic rules for height and weight and advertise them beforehand. Please, Keep the place in shape.
For all potential goers, especially international kind: go to the pu quoc aquatopia park. This is how a water park is...
Read moreTotally worth a visit for a rainy or cold day.
Would have given it 4.5 if there’s such an option.
The park is very reasonably priced for both entrance fees and food items selling inside. For example, a bowl of Korean ramen only for 90K or a Matcha soft serve for 55K.
The water park facilities are well maintained and clean. There are three big slides, all require minimum height of 120 or minimum weight of 40kg. Our 6 year old cannot get on the big slides but the slides would have been too scary for her anyway. With the wave pool and the splash area she still enjoyed herself fully for 3 hours.
My favourite part is the Onsen. There are so many variety for both adults and the family. There is a big outdoor hot spring for everyone and they are quite relaxed about kids entering. There are a few smaller cute tubs for the family just beside it with two saunas.
On top of those, there are original hotter onsen in the change room with hotter temperature and proper hot spring water. Both my daughter and I have found the one tub with temperature we enjoyed.
After that we played in the kids playground and arcade for another while. Cafe on the 4th floor offers delicious soft serve ice cream and drinks.
We were there for 6 hours and felt like we could have stayed for even longer!
I’m only taking 0.5 star off because of the towel service. The towel is one-off use, so even with a soaking wet towel they don’t offer exchanges.
All in, for the price, it’s by far one of the best activities to do on a...
