We arrived at 7:30 am (to be ahead of tour groups) on April 13, 2023. It was just gorgeous! Plenty of shaded paths and benches.
The entrance fee went up from 70K to 100K per adult, but it could be a seasonal price hike, I don’t know, but it was well worth the visit. All the orchids were out on display (not in a green house as other reviewers mentioned), and topiaries had new leaves growing, so it might be getting into a full growing season. Roses were toward the end of the blooming season.
Don’t miss the elephant topiaries and the big scarlet sage field behind them, which is located along the outer road between section 3 and 4. We had the whole area to ourselves.
Bonsai garden in the back of the lake was interesting, too, with a couple of raspberry bonsai! Also, make sure to check out the hilltop/back areas of Section 6, 7, 8, and 9. They were renovating the entrance to Section 6, but we were able to get to the cute bridge and a little pond from Section 7, as they are all connected on the hilltop side. Again, we had the whole section to ourselves with just a few workers below at the bottom of the hill.
On the hill of Section 9, there is a beautiful sculpture garden and a pink (and a bit tacky) bridge. From the top of it, you can see the entire park below you.
We walked 30 minutes to get to the garden from the main part of the city, explored about 2.5 hours, rested at one of their cafes, and caught a green taxi who was in the parking lot outside of the exit. It was 50k to go back to our hotel. Grab...

Welcome to the Da Lat City Flower Garden, or as I like to call it: Home Depot’s garden section, but make it “art.”
You’d think a “flower garden” in the so-called City of Eternal Spring would be a lush, romantic oasis. Nope. It’s just rows upon rows of nursery pots, awkwardly shoved into weird shapes like a heart, a horse, or something that might have been a swan before it gave up. It’s not landscaping—it’s pot-scape. I’ve seen better floral arrangements at gas station grand openings.
Every “display” is essentially a low-effort Lego set made of begonias. Want to see a majestic field of blooms? Too bad. You’ll get a plastic horse covered in geraniums, crying out for mercy in the midday sun. It’s less botanical garden, more hostage situation for flowers.
There are also plastic fountains, sad benches, and inexplicably—giant cartoon statues that look like off-brand Disney characters retired here after a scandal. Nothing says “nature” like a fiberglass Pikachu next to a dying marigold in a cracked pot.
This isn’t a garden. It’s an identity crisis with mulch.
If you’re into chaotic design choices, wilted hopes, and an overwhelming smell of fertilizer, this is the place for you. Otherwise, save your money and go smell an actual flower somewhere that isn’t zip-tied to a wire frame shaped like a butterfly on...
