Busy but not noisy! clean,well maintained for Argentine standards,very nice terrace in the back with swimming pool(surprisingly cleaned everyday)large enough with multiple loungers & tables.Breakfast was good and sufficient.Large lobby with cable tv & big pool table.Rooms are large enough,small bathroom but good hot water shower.Good large bed and quiet sleep even if facing street.Staff very nice & accomodating,most speak enough english(rare in Argentina)and will trying to make your stay enjoyable.wi-fi ok in room,lobby but not good on terrrace outside.FANTASTIC LOCATION;SECONDS AWAY FROM MAIN PLAZA(INDEPENDANCE SQUARE,big fountain but not working for cleaning statues ,will not be functioning for many months;big job,slow moving,did not see any clening in 5 days)supermarkets close,pedestrian street also,restaurants as well.All in all good choice in Mendoza,been to worse...
Read moreThis is a very old hotel, run at the expense of this who do not know. We were allowed this hotel by our tour operator, Inka Expeditions whose services are below par by any basic and minimal standards. The fact that we were duped by Inka dawned on us regrettably after we were already in our tour, having paid our fees. It did not surprise us at all then, at the end of our tour Inka would choose a dump like Nutibara.||There were cockroaches roaming about in the room and bathroom. The place, right as you enter, had an old duty stale smell that announced to anyone what they got themselves into. Suffice it to say, we could barely last 8 hours and our ourselves an alternative, of there are plenty in Mendoza. ||Inexpensive hotel doesn't have to mean a cheap one, which Nutibara is. We would not recommend this...
Read moreLocation of the hotel is bang on the middle of Mendoza, hard to beat not gonna lie. The service was super nice and very attentive to all aspects of our stay so much so that they almost didn't even want to do my laundry and recommended a place around the corner because they thought it was cheaper. In all fairness I washed more than 12 items or 5kg of clothes for about $12 which I thought was not too expensive.
The only drawback were the rooms - they felt old, the beds a bit noisy but overall very clean.
Be careful of the locking mechanism to the doors as they can remain open if you don't pay close attention.
I do recommend the hotel for it's proximity to city center, cleanness...
