POSADA YACÓN — Hotel in Municipio de Tilcara

On our way to the mountains we had the most wonderful time in posada Yacon, placed close to the center of Tilcara. It was great! The place is made all over of the natural materials, warm at night and fresh during the day, furniture such as bed, desk and chairs are made of cactus wood. The blankets and details on the walls remind us that we are in the Sub-Andean region with warm wool of llama. There is also internal small patio which is connected to some of the rooms which is very nice, to step out of your room directly to the fresh air. And – the most important for me – very calm, clean and quiet environment. And the prices are economical too. This hotel feels so modern and contemporary that it's almost at odds with the dusty back country town in which it is situated. As it turns out this is no bad thing, if you are prepared to pay a little over a backpacker budget then you get a clean, fresh retreat from the dust and the heat. Estuvimos 5 días y verdaderamente fuimos muy bien atendidos. En un clima familiar, tanto Walter como Mónica nos recibieron, atendieron y contuvieron ante problemas extra hotel de muy buena manera. Es una posada cuya edificación respeta el espíritu de Tilcara sin dejar de ser limpia y linda. Sandra, la sra que aseaba las habitaciones lo hacía con dedicación extrema y de absoluta confianza. Las fotos de promoción son tal cual en la realidad por prolijidad y limpieza. La ubicación es perfecta: a media cuadra de la plaza y a una de la iglesia. Puedo decir que la relación precio calidad es asimétrica; barato por todo lo que ofrecen. Por todo lo que disfruté en Purmamarca, Humahuaca y Tilcar y por lo mucho que me falta conocer, sin dudas volveré a este lugar. La única contra es la señal de wifi débil en las habitaciones pero no así en la sala de recepción. Es así en todos lados pues no hay banda ancha y desde ya les aviso que no hay 4g en ningún lado...
