Romancing the Jungle!

Nestled on the edge of the Argentine rainforest, the Iguazu Jungle Lodge offers a unique immersion into the lush environment surrounding the world-famous Iguazu Falls. This eco-friendly lodge strikes a delicate balance between a rustic wilderness experience and comfortable accommodation. Its strategic location provides guests with an authentic jungle atmosphere while maintaining proximity to one of the world's most spectacular natural wonders.

LOCATION: Perfectly situated just minutes from Iguazu National Park, the lodge offers an incredible advantage for nature enthusiasts and waterfall chasers. The property is surrounded by dense subtropical forests, providing an immersive natural experience. You're close enough to the falls to make multiple visits convenient, yet secluded enough to feel truly connected to the wilderness.

DINE + DRINK: The on-site restaurant focuses on local Argentine cuisine with a rainforest twist. While not gourmet, the food is fresh and satisfying, featuring regional ingredients. Breakfast is simple but delicious - especially the baked goodies. The bar offers a decent selection of local wines and cocktails.

ROOM: We stayed in Room 216, so this review is based on that; Rooms are designed to blend with the natural surroundings, featuring wooden furnishings and large windows that invite the jungle inside. SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Mindblowing views of the river and the Jungle from the huge balcony attached to the room - a great place to unwind!; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM: Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Ok quality toiletries, better to bring your own!

FACILITIES: Super Random “Gym” that is more of a play area with no good equipment. But the outdoor pool is a great place to chill and soak in the Jungle vibe!

SERVICE: Friendly staff that cared for all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of.

HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free Wi-Fi that works well all over the property, and the speed is good! Big Smart TV dishing out a wide variety of channels spanning sports, news, music, movies, and entertainment- primarily...

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is more like a resort, with lots of buildings that are a bit of a walk (or they have a golf buggy), two large pool areas, restaurant etc. There is construction ongoing (they’re building c.200+ more rooms), but it’s only during the day when we were out so it did not bother us. If you are looking to relax during the day there then it’s probably not the best. The rooms are fairly new, clean and large, with nice views of the jungle (try to request a room on a higher floor). There are large balconies but we got bitten by flies outside. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of options, although the food itself was quite budget. We also had dinner twice at the restaurant which was hit and miss. The location is on the outskirts of town, but it is not a big place. It is a 15 min walk to town but in the evening it is dark and quiet. The hotel helped us call a taxi to the falls (both Argentina side and Brazil side) for reasonable prices (seems to be a flat ish rate across taxis). It felt like this is one of the few modern options for hotels in Iguazu so we would stay here again.

We had a great time here. The hotel is more of a small complex of apartment-like buildings and also a section with more traditional rooms. We stayed in one of these rooms overlooking the river. Super clean and comfortable. It had an electric kettle with some complementary teas. Coffee/Nespresso would have been nice. Staff was very welcoming and attentive. They also have an on-site tours/guide to help you get to the falls and other attractions, call a cab, etc. Breakfast was good, they had a large selection of items (different pastries, eggs, bacons, fruits, cereals, etc). All seemed to be made on-site, seemed very fresh. My only complaint here is that coffee/tea is not auto-serve, the waiter(tress) serves you when you ask for it. Lunch and Dinner is in the same building at different times of the day. They have varied selection of foods, lots of grilled meat options. For dinner make sure to reserve ahead of time since it's a well known restaurant and it fills up fast at night. Overall I really liked out stay here and super recommend it!
