Over the years, I’ve visited Jungle numerous times, and it has always been my favorite restaurant in the city. However, after moving farther away, I went over a year without returning. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit of a letdown.

The bread service arrived after the appetizers and only after we asked about it. The biggest disappointment of the evening was the fries. You know that feeling when you show up late to lunch at your grandma’s house, and the fries were made an hour ago? That’s exactly how the fries served with the steak felt.

As for the steak itself, it’s still excellent, but it seemed (just my impression) a bit smaller than it used to be. Another side dish we attempted to order was mashed potatoes, but after we placed the order, we were informed it wasn’t available.

To wrap things up, we had the tableside tiramisu for dessert. While it was tasty, the dessert was swimming in coffee, which overwhelmed the flavors.

As for the price, like most restaurants in the area, it’s noticeably higher than in the past. Two appetizers, three main courses, dessert, and one of the more affordable wines on the menu totaled...

One of the worst restaurant experiences my business partners and I had experienced in a long time! All of us ordered a nice cut of meat, cooked medium. The rib-eye that I got was far from medium, rather well done, which certainly can happen. Thus, I kindly showed this to the waiter and asked for a replacement as it was very chewy and dry. He told me to put it on the cold small bread plate and he will return with a new piece. Five minutes later he returned with the female „chef de servive“, with the meat still on the cold plate. She told me in an extremely rude manner that this is medium (see the attached photo and judge yourself) and I should have ordered it medium rare. However, my friends cuts were better and I showed it to her. Yet, she remained ignorant and told me that it was my fault and basically walked away without offering anything not even a cofe at the end! This is something which no customer at a restaurant on this level should expect and we felt treated extemely rude and not wellcoming at all. Conclusively, safe your money and go to one of the other good steak houses...

Food and service were terrible. The host showed us to our table and told us to scan their QR code for the menu. The wifi for the restaurant wasn't working so he said he'd get us the password to the lodge wifi. In the interim, he seemed to have run into some friends and forgot about us.

The food was very salty. I had the rice with seafood and it came with broken pieces of a shell. The group also ordered a beef dish which was poorly cooked. The meat was very salty and difficult to cut. The sauce on the side had an awful taste. The arugula salad is just arugula and cheese.

No one asked whether we liked the food, to refresh our drinks or even to check in. They had plenty of staff and no other patrons at the time.
