JASY RESTAURANT DE SELVA — Restaurant in Puerto Iguazú

It's a cute place in a cute hotel with a small pool, and the waitress spoke excellent English. High marks for the restaurant's intent to give guests a great time - sadly execution was rather hit and miss. The taste was ok but dishes were not quite what you would expect. The Waldorf salad was a gigantic quantity of cream interspersed with tiny bits of celery, with one half walnut and three thin slices of green apple on top for decoration. The risotto was cooked rice with canned mushrooms, well seasoned but not at all creamy. The Milanese chicken was gigantic and rather good! the condiments for the accompanying green salad consisted of multiple bottles that seemed rather old (the chili sauce had a lot of dried residue on its top, the balsâmico was almost empty, and the alcohol vinegar (no flavour) would be more useful for decalcifying than enhancing a salad. We were surprised that the restaurant had managed to run out of espresso but the mocha we were offered instead tasted great. Also the house wine tasted rather nice.

We were really glad when the waiter warned us that the pasta we had ordered would take 20 minutes and changed the order because we were in a rush. Strangely, however, it then still took 40 minutes to get our food even though we were the only guests.

Net net we left the place with a full stomach and as the experience was rather cute, we didn't have a bad time. At the same time, next time we definitely would try to find a better place to eat, and if we had eaten the Waldorf salad, we probably would have a stomach ache because of the sheer amount of...

Si pudiera le daría media estrella, en la calle principal hay mucha gente trabajando para el lugar, que te ofrecen tragos o jugos gratis, precios accesibles y porciones abundantes y para compartir. No solo que te enganchan con que la parrillada para 4 comen 6( vienen 2 choricitos, pollo, 4 mini costillitas de asado un bufé de chorizo, te dice que te trae vacío y discuten que es algo que no es, hasta que vino el encargado y nos reconoció que era bife no vacío, la frutilla del postre mi marido tuvo que sacarse de la boca carne en mal estado con un olor horrible incluso vimos y de un costado se veía verde, avisamos y la retiraron enseguida y demoraron muchísimo en darnos una respuesta, claramente después de eso se le va el hambre a cualquiera, el mismo hombre nos vino a decir que se trató de una mala manipulación después que llegó la mercadería que supuestamente había ingresado ese mismo día. Pedimos la cuenta esa parte no fue cobrada la de la parrillada pero igual la verdad no se manejaron bien y te venden una cosa que no...
