I first stayed at the Hotel Bicentenario Suites & Spa for three nights on my way north to Salta. My overall good opinion of the hotel began right from the start with a quick and professional check in. I was really impressed. My other experiences at the front desk were also positive. I had the pleasure of being well served by both Lucas and Alejandro who both spoke English and were very helpful with local information and with helping me to find some excursions so I could explore the city and area during my visit. They were always professional and courteous in my dealings with them. Overall the Front Desk Team is very professional and first rate. The breakfast was good, basic Argentine fare but there was always plenty of hot coffee and the staff refilled food items quickly. The housekeeping staff were very nice and kept my room and the hotel spotless. The hotel is well located near the main plaza and other tourist sites as well as places to shop and eat. The Wifi was excellent and my room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. I was very pleased with my first visit and have returned to the hotel two more times and the hotel and its excellent staff have not disappointed me. I highly recommend this hotel for it's excellent staff, cleanliness...
Read moreThis hotel offers all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. |The bedroom and bathroom are very comfortable with wifi, TV, a small refrigerator filled with sodas, water and snacks, a safe, good lighting, confortable beds and pillows. |The bathroom is big, it has a tub, toiletries, bidet, and hair dryer. |The temperature inside the hotel was pleasant. |We dined at the hotel and the food was good as well as the service; breakfast is very generous with breads, sweets, ham, cheese, eggs!!, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, milk, mate, toasters and more. |It has a heated pool, jacuzzi and a gym on the top floor. |The only reason I don't give it the highest rank is because our room had 6 air conditioner motors on the exterior wall and we kept hearing them going on and off, we could also hear sounds coming from the other rooms from the bathroom vent but nothing that closing the door would not solve, other than that, it was an excellent place to stay eat and rest.|I highly...
Read moreWe checked into the so called VIP suite where the temperature was app 33 degrees and it took the AC two hours to cool it to a bearable temperature. The windows were not very sound proof so we had quite a noise in the room during the night. The seating area in the suite was in the posterior part with no window and too far from the air condition, so the temperature there stayed unbearable and the air stuffy. The pool was completely overcrowded. The reception and breakfast area were hardly cooled, it was crowded during breakfast and the waiters not very attentive ( to say it in a polite way ) - it has to be mentioned that after we complained the receptionist tried his best and gave us a reduction of 30 EUR off the price; when we asked if the air condition was broken in the reception area he answered : maybe you are hot but I am fine . - the answer you expect from a well trained hotel staff. In total not a nice stay, there must be better places...
