Rossi Rest House — Hotel in Dilijan

The prize/value/love for guests ratio is very good. Going through a rather peculiar way up to reach the very central Rossi's rest house one is gratified by a adults playground garden and architecture. What it lacks in tidiness it is made up to by character and charm. All ahead is the host Vlad, who is diligent as a host and loves to give his all, throw in a couple of beers, makes surprisingly good food and whatever one desires for, just to have the save satisfaction to know he could have done better for his guests. Ein Ort mit viel Potential der, wie uns scheint, etwas vernachlässigt wird. Warum auch immer.

Theoretisch könnte man hier ziemlich einfach eine 4-5 Sterne Bewertung geben. Doch der Gastgeber hat sich zu beginn zum abkassieren blicken lassen, danach haben wir ihn nicht mehr gesehen. In der Küche hat es kaum Utensilien, um diese anständig sauber zu halten ohne sich zu ekeln. Die einzige Pfanne ist nicht brauchbar. Der Müll war voll. Auf der Toilette gab es zwei Tage kein Toilettenpapier und auch hier wurde der Abfalleimer anscheinend schon mehrere Tage nicht geleert.

Der Garten war überhaupt nicht nutzbar, eigentlich wollten wir hier etwas Zeit verbringen, lesen und abhängen.

Wir hatten zwar ein "Upgrade" bekommen aber anscheinend nur weil es einen Doppeltbuchung gab da man Gäste bittet Buchungen zu stornieren. Auch hatten wir das Gefühl in einem nicht neu bezogenem Bett zu Nächtigen. Es gab Krümmel und kleine Kiesel im Bett welches wir zu erst ausschütteln mussten.

Sehr sehr schade. So viel Potential wird hier einfach vernachlässigt denn eigentlich sind Zimmer, Einrichtung und Ort sehr schön. Mal eine ehrliche Bewertung von einem Paar die als Backpacker nicht sehr viel Anspruch haben aber sehr bedacht sind, dass dann zumindest der Mindest-Standart geboten...

Had the most wonderful stay at Rossi! The owner Vladimir is super nice and goes above and beyond. The garden is a true paradise and is so very tranquil, though still located right next to the bus station and a convenient supermarket. The dorm is cozy as is the bedding. It's very charming, in parts thanks to the age of the house, but really enjoyed my stay because of it. Feels like a beautiful little family...
