We’ve been coming here for years and typically have a great experience, but today was different.
It felt like there was a double standard in the way we were treated.
We placed our order about five to ten minutes before a Caucasian couple, yet the customer service we received was noticeably different.
The server’s tone felt off-putting, and she seemed uninterested in assisting us. We simply asked about a dish we saw in the photo, as it looked appealing.
When the Caucasian couple ordered, the server was friendly and cheerful.
We waited about 10 minutes, and during that time, they served the other couple’s meal first (even though they ordered after us), which included four different dishes. Ours came 5 minutes later. Our order was simple—vegetarian fried rice and Kra Prao Gai Kai Dao with a sunny side up egg. Unfortunately, the egg was overcooked and dry.
Additionally, we’ve always been charged 50 cents for takeout containers, yet the same couple received four containers for free.
We were so hungry and frustrated that we didn’t even think to take photos or leave feedback at the time. But here we are—tonight’s experience definitely left a bad taste.
It’s really disappointing because this used to be our go-to spot. Customer service should be fair and equal for everyone, regardless of race, background, gender, or disability—don’t you think?!
I understand that you’re often busy, and I can relate since I work in a similar customer service field. However, I strongly believe that customer service is about making an effort to genuinely care for your customers. After all, this is the field you’ve chosen.
I’m always happy to leave positive reviews when they’re deserved, but it’s also important to share constructive feedback when necessary. As customers, we should be able to voice our experiences, giving the business a chance to reflect and improve.

The taste in all their food...special fried rice and noodles has changed. There's no flavour like there used to be, it feels like eating nothing and their honey chicken isn't crunchy like before...pick up/delivery is the same! The only good thing is the fast service and friendly staff.
What also was very DISAPPOINTING was how you put our order through over the phone after I called asking why honey chicken wasn't online. Then my order went through online and I found myself with 2 orders!! I also called you to cancel 1 order but you refused!! That shows that you obviously don't care about your clients. I even sent one order back to you (my mistake) hoping to get a refund...but nothing!! ($115)😠
That was the last time we will be spending money there, where clients are not looked after....especially on food that is not fine...

Other than that I have not tried many of their other dishes.
But usually I am with a group or someone and have heard positive feedback from them all from their dishes they order. This use to be the spot we go to for a quick session.
Pricing is just right from what I remember. The food comes out fast, fresh and hot, they live up to their name. I don’t see them being stingy with their toppings or experienced a bad time where the food was not done well. Always the same result. It is a small and compact place, which makes sense given the whole idea of the place. Customer service has been so far so good. Location is right at the start of Mawson, parking on the sides and it’s next to the popular drink store, can head into before or after and it goes down just right...
