My daughter took me here on Sunday for high tea. After looking so forward to it, and knowing how much it was, the whole process was disappointing. Stood at door at 11.30(time advertised) for 5 minutes as waitresses walked past us. Finally seated and then a wait till we received our champers and then an hour (55mins)wait till our high tea came out. Most of it looked like bought products heated up and a very poor display. Not appealing to the eye at all and no delicious looking or tasting foods amongst them. I’ve had many a high tea and this rated 3/10. Not once did anyone come and check us in the 2 hours we were there.🙁 I will say they got very busy later and very few had ordered the high tea. I paid over a $100 for dinner had entrees that were very disappointing 😞. Ordered the fish and chips for $25 dollars and it was over cooked and the chips were over cooked like seriously how can you over cook fish. If your going to charge the amounts for there meals then make the meal worth it. Wouldn't recommend a place to have dinner. The service was bad. My booking was in another name,it took four people to rectify the booking. One of waitress was so rude had no table service experience dropped a knife on my mums nice dress like really didnt even apologies unprofessional, try to give feedback to the waitress and she was rude , just rolled her eyes. Up until tonight our family came here twice a week the food was amazing and well priced to feed a family of five and staff were so helpful and friendly. Well tonight was a different story not only have they taken all the weekly specials away but staff were all gone and replaced with a bunch of mundane unwelcoming clones, prices had increased dramatically I can go to a five star restaurant in Sydney and pay less and the place lacked all the atmosphere that made it such a pleasure to come to.
