Most of the reviews talk about good service. I guess I'm the unlucky one because that's what was lacking for me. I asked about the bacon & egg roll vs the toastie version. The lady said the toastie version was better so I said "OK, I'll have the toastie". And they served me the roll, not the toastie. Their menu board didn't show hot chocolate but various coffees with prices at $4.50 for small, $5.50 for medium & $6.50 for large. I was told they do have hot chocolate so I ordered a medium. The total price of the two items showed the hot chocolate cost $6.50. So either the hot chocolate costs more or I was charged for a large cup. These may not be a big deal but I was disappointed given the reputation for service. How were they? The egg & bacon roll was good -- filling & enjoyable. The hot chocolate was disappointing. It had good foam on top but the drink itself was "thin" -- it didn't taste right.

Its one of those cafes that charge you an extra shot ($1.50) for a correctly made long black.. but then don't minus that cost on a half strength cappuccino.. and even though it's a very working person orientated with substantial lunches etc.. its mugs dont have handles for big working men's hands to fit through.. Home made cakes though!.. great plus

Best coffee in Cairns! I am more than happy to drive into town from Edmonton on my days off just for Goody's coffee and brilliant service. The food is expensive but of high quality most days. The healthier offerings are a nice change for a 'takeaway' shop and I love that they are more than open to menu suggestions and critique. They are clearly passionate and motivated to create an offering that is satisfying to their customers wants and needs instead of concentrating on quick, cheap and profit margins, which mostly = fatty & deep fried with little to no nutritional value. With Goody's smile and amazing barista skills, I can see them gaining a loyal following...

I bought a coffee at your amazing Cafe this morning Friday 5th July. I was sitting outside babysitting my Granddaughter. The beautiful and kind woman working there bought me out water to drink while I was waiting for my Daughter. Then I was given freshly baked Banana bread so scrumptious. Your staff kept on coming out to check on me to see if I needed anything. This kindness is just amazing and thoughtful. I cannot praise this Cafe enough For their great coffee and food. But mainly their customer service is something I acknowledge as the BEST in CAIRNS. THANK YOU...
