I didn’t get the opportunity to stay at this accommodation due to Melbourne going into a lockdown and after speaking to the facility I was assured that they understood the situation and were refunding due to covid lock downs. I went back to Qantas Frequent Flyer who apparently liaised with the hotel and they were not willing to refund any of the amount. I asked QFF to even try and put accommodation in credit so I could use it at a later date. I believe since this situation was Outside of my control as I would have loved to stay at the accommodation and am disappointed that I was stopped from entering the state that I should have received a portion back. This company needs to get with the times and accept that if the state goes into lockdown it’s outside of the customers control. A good portion should be refunded since the business is able to claim back from the government. Stayed in #19 at back of complex. Very spacious room with huge bathroom and ‚walk in‘ shower.|As others have mentioned, easy walk into town proper, also quite close to access the river walk. |Comfortable and very clean.
