I recently stayed at this Motel unfortunately, my experience was marred by the unprofessional behaviour and offensive attitude of the receptionist. I feel compelled to share my encounter to warn others about the unpleasant atmosphere at this establishment.
Upon arriving at the motel, I was greeted by a receptionist who demonstrated a complete lack of courtesy and respect. Not only was she consistently rude, but her behavior also crossed the line into racism. It is deeply disheartening to encounter such blatant discrimination in the 21st century.
To make matters worse, when I politely asked her about certain amenities and services provided by the motel, she responded with threats and demands. It is unacceptable for a representative of any business to engage in such hostile behavior towards paying customers.
What shocked me further was the receptionist's refusal to provide any information on how to address my concerns or lodge a complaint. This lack of transparency and accountability speaks volumes about the management's disregard for customer satisfaction.
On a slightly positive note, I must acknowledge that the motel itself was reasonably clean. Despite the rude receptionist, the housekeeping staff seemed to maintain a decent level of cleanliness in the rooms. However, this alone does not compensate for the overall negative experience I encountered.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this motel due to the unacceptable and offensive treatment I endured from the receptionist. Read moreBooked the room at 1030 on same night as staying. Arrived to find reception closes at 10pm. Guest had managers number who's name was Phill, he came down sorted it out. Legend.
I Watched Tv for an hour on low volume and went to sleep. Was woken by a knock at the door at 1030am. When i opened the door, the blonde cleaning lady looked me up n down (im tall with tatts and dreadlocks)
What should of been said - Excuse me sir its past checkout time, are you booking for another night, if not can you please checkout as we need to clean the room.
What was said - "Can we inspect the room please" (tone of voice was VERY absent of please if ya get my drift)
"I said who are you?"
"Its past checkout time we need to clean the room"
I Said id slept in and would be out in 5. No thank you or anything just turned and walked away.
Felt very judged and unvalued and angry. Tried to talk to the girl at the front desk, she said there were complaints from both rooms on either side about the tv being to loud.
I said the walls need insulation then and suggested she turn the tv on and see what volume it was on.
She said, no you should of watched the TV on mute!!!!
Called her entitled to which she replied, "im the owners daughter what do you expect!
Flabbergasted is a word. Never been treated like that at any hotel ive stayed in.
Blonds name was Terry. Owners daughter wouldnt tell me her name. Absolutly pathetic. Will never stay again. Only good thing about the entire experience was Phill.

Read more6 night stay. The location suited our needs. On arrival, we found our room to be clean and tidy and the bed comfortable with our basic requirements filled. The motel, in general, is a little run down after the Covid 19 closures and certainly needs general maintenance to spruce it up. One thing to know is that if anything isn't working and it is bought to the attention of management if it can be fixed it is promptly fixed. I found the lighting to be a bit poor as I like bright white lighting due the sight issues. but this is a personal issue. Room servicing at first was a bit hit and miss as servicing was done in the afternoons. Sometimes this meant we had to vacate the room while it was being done or make the bed up ourselves and request fresh towels and supplies. If you asked, you are always given what you requested. Management is working to improve the rooms by removing the old spa baths located in the bathrooms rooms, ours included. This is a major job and will be done as soon as they can do it. We loved the outdoor sitting area off our room. A little private shaded space on a hot afternoon with a table and chairs. A great place for a quiet drink. In all, not great but not bad for the price. Management appear to be doing their best under difficult times.
