I would like to extend a special thank you to the staff for their attentiveness and kind personalities throughout our visit. Their respectful and accommodating nature, especially towards my mum's partner who is not fluent in English, did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. Not to mention how quick the service was, and how delicious our food was.
Furthermore, I was impressed to see the manager personally interacting with customers' children, adding a personal touch to our dining experience. This level of care and attention to detail truly made our time at La Porchetta unforgettable.

We ordered a gluten free cheese focaccia and then I had gluten free bolognese and my partner had a normal pasta. When the focaccia came out and I put a slice on my plate it didn't look gluten free and my partner said didn't taste gluten free, when we got the waiters attention she said she wasn't sure and would ask the chef, they then took the pizza back to the kitchen and then came back out and confirmed it wasn't gluten free!! It's not good enough to state you do gluten free and then produce a meal that is not! Lucky I am experienced enough to tell when something doesn't look gluten free, otherwise I could have been very sick! And then they said they would get us a gluten free one, and by the time that came out we had finished our mains, and still had to pay for it. And to be charged $4 extra for gluten free and to be given something that wasn't is OUTRAGEOUS! However, I'm giving only 2 stars due to a negative experience with what seemed to be one of the managers.When we entered the restaurant, the door greeter, a middle-aged man not wearing a uniform (which made me think he was a manager), stared at us as if questioning why we were there instead of greeting us with a smile. I said hello and asked for a table for three, to which he responded by asking if we had a booking. When I said no, he frowned, clearly irritated because the restaurant was busy. He eventually found us a table but did so without any warmth or welcome.The worst part was at the end of our meal. I had already paid at the counter while my little one was finishing her lunch. As we were leaving, this same man rudely approached us and asked if we knew our table number to pay, as if he thought we were trying to leave without paying.
