Boathouse Resort Studios & Suites — Hotel in Melbourne

What a cute little property. This review is based on a day where it was heavily raining all day as well.

Made the trip up from Melbourne and was looking for a place close to all the relaxation aspects of the Peninsula area - Massages, Peninsula Hot Springs, Day Spa's etc - And this place is perfect

Check-In was smooth. Every room has its own parking space. All staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. Made sure they went out of their way to direct you to your room & also recommend a few places to eat/visit on the trip.

We had a balcony room and the outside of the rooms do not do the inside justice. They are gorgeous rooms. Very modern. Bed was super comfy, shower was amazing, all amenities are fantastic as well. Due to the really really bad weather we were not able to visit everything we wanted to on our 1 night stay so it made us spend a lot of time in the room which we were not disappointed with at all!

There is a small restaurant on the property if you do not want to travel far (bookings for dinner are needed) but there is a shopping complex on a few minutes drive away if you want to eat-in. For those who want to stay in there is no Uber Eats, but Menulog has a few options.

This will now be my go-to place to stay for weekend away trips...

I absolutely love this resort ! This is a popular resort not only for locals, but also interstate and city side travelers as well.

The owners are so warm and welcoming, and there are a range of suites and rooms to suit every traveler, is very popular with families in the summer season as the foreshore is right across the road, there is a pool and restaurant on site and the rooms are cleaned every day.

When I stayed here, I had a bottle of wine waiting in the room, and the suites have all been recently renovated, i have stayed there before and after this and it's always been a fantastic experience.

Also only a 5 minute drive to the posh playground that is Sorrento where there is shopping and dining options, and also 5 mins to left is Rye, where in the summer season's has it's famous yearly Carnival which is entertaining for the family.

Had an overnight stay in a spacious, air-conditioned spa suite last week and found it very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Having a suite with all the user-friendly features including a kitchenette for preparing meals, if so inclined, was one of many amenities provided in this resort/hotel. Terrific location with the beach directly across the road and then you can saunter back for a dip in their pool. Added bonus of a short stroll to the local village area which provides eateries, supermarket, bottle shop etc. without the necessity of using your car.
