Dromana Beach Getaway — Hotel in Melbourne

Apart from being ideally located between the cheapest petrol on the peninsula (BP Dromana) and the biggest supermarket in the southern hemisphere (Ritchies IGA), this impeccably clean establishment was our stopover for 4 nights between 23/11 and 27/11. Despite it being on a main road, the units are quite secluded and spared from all but the slightest bit of traffic noise (which was negligible during the night). Cafes, supermarket and takeaways are a 10 minute walk which you can take along the beachfront. We stayed in room number one and had nothing to wish for as everything to make our stay enjoyable was provided. Business owners, Denise and Doug personally manage, maintain and clean the premises so quality control is guaranteed. 5 Star Service, 5 Star Location and 5 Star Accommodation!

The Dromana Beach Getaway was exactly that- a beach getaway that is close to the city, has everything you could want for close by, and as our title indicates is by far and away one of the nicest stays we have had in a very long while.

Doug and Denise are ridiculously accommodating, know the area like the back of their hand and nothing is too much trouble.

Given there are only 4 self-contained rooms (that are immaculately cleaned) it can be difficult to book in peak times so get in early to make sure you secure this gem.

Doug also highly recommends going for a swim each day, and whilst it might be a little on the cool side is extremely refreshing, although in the middle of the year it might be a bit too much!
