Second visit Solid place. The pizzas were very good. Calamari was good too. Coffee fine as well. The service was efficient but a tad cool and distant. First visit 3.5. Zero95 only opened in December in Dromana. It’s a welcome addition to the area. This is a big bustling wood fired pizza restaurant in the peak season. The fit out is new and on trend. We started with bruschetta on pizza base. It was good but not outstanding. Even though it was frantically busy while we were here, the service was pretty good overall tonight. Prompt and pleasant. The staff did pretty well under lots of pressure. We shared a gnocchi with tomato sugo next. It was a pleasant gnocchi entree. We had two pizzas. One a smoked salmon and avocado number. The other a seafood with clams, mussels, calamari and prawns. The avocado pizza was very good with really nice flavour. It was the highlight of the experience. The seafood pizza, however, was soggy at the bottom which made it hard to cut and a bit stodgy in part to eat. The error was partially understandable given how busy it was here. Crazy in the peak! We also had a rocket and pear salad. The dressing on the salad was lovely. Note at 9pm, a pizza chef puts on a pizza twirling show followed by Italian music. It was fun and went down well. Overall, we enjoyed our night here and would happily return at some point.

As you walk in you can hear the wonderful Italian accents bustling in the kitchen as they prep for their customers. The girls and I had a great time and were starving after a fishing trip so we popped by and was lucky to book a table on this busy day. The food. The food was amazing! Pizza and Zuppa were delicious. The Quatro Fromaggi is life and you can taste the Gorgonzola (blue cheese) through each bite. "Polenta sticks" was not a fan favourite as it was plain tasting and I believe they'd make good money from the Calamari dish as it is $33 a plate. Make it rain. Staff were friendly and attentive with the exception of a couple who seemed like they did not want to be there. Perhaps they hate pizza. Perhaps they just wanted to go fishing like we did but instead they are there with a public holiday wage. Who knows. The lady at the checkout seemed disinterested and lack genuinity (also known as fake smiles & a "have a nice day"). We spent $400+ there in one sitting so you'd think some better acknowledgement and engagement would be there. Expect to pay hectic surcharges on public holidays but I guess that's to pay for the public holiday wages. To those who did not want to be there. Lol. I'll be back because food.

The atmosphere and customer service were both excellent, everyone was incredibly polite and attentive throughout our meal. However, I feel the food didn’t quite match the price point. We ordered the following: •Ragusa Pizza: This pizza was loaded with cheese, but unfortunately, it lacked the promised pancetta flavour . It was a bit overwhelming with cheese and didn’t deliver the balance of honey & pancetta I was expecting. •Spaghettini Pescatora al Cartoccio: At $42, this dish felt underwhelming. The seafood was fresh and tender, but the pasta itself lacked seasoning and flavor, leaving it a bit bland. •Gnocchi Pomodoro: My partner pointed out that the sauce on the gnocchi reminded him of a canned tin of sauce, which was disappointing for $33. The gnocchi itself was fine, but the sauce didn't do it justice. Warm Date and Amaretti Pudding: This dessert was decent, though it had the texture of something that was likely microwaved, leaving it soft and mushy rather than fresh and indulgent. •Cannoli: lovely taste! In summary, while the food wasn’t bad, it didn’t reflect the premium pricing, which was a bit disappointing.

Spent $65 on a cold, unsliced Hawaiian that had olives on it (More than a clumsy mistake, not enough for an addition misunderstanding. Hate to think how messy the prep bench was) and a hot on the outside, cold on the inside bolognese which was not handed out with a cutlery set or told where to pick one up on our way out. We first noticed the lack of cutlery and quickly pulled into a servo to grab one from there, back on the road and that's when we noticed the unsliced, cold pizza. Now, I run a mobile business, we are on the road all day every day so takeout becomes a necessity some days where we can just place our order and get back on the road all in one go. By the time we realised all the other shortcomings we were on the freeway and too disappointed to come back, let alone the waste of time it would be being that we were still working. Spending that much on dinner is also a very rare occurrence, normally a "treat" night will come to half that amount but we were excited that dinner landed on a night we were passing through Dromana and zero95 was open. The headache surrounding this inedible cashpit is extremely disheartening. I sent an immediate message through the "contact us" on the website and have received no response. Making complaint phone calls is not something I find easy, when there is an option to text, email or messenger a business, I will. But receiving no response, not even an "I've received your message and someone will get back to you"... It's been over a day. If you have the option for being contacted via message then it's fair to expect that to be a viable option right? I will happily change this review and continue boasting about how much I love zero95 and wish I could go more often if someone emails me back and eases my mind after this brain scrambling stress. It'll be easy to match my review with the message I sent last night. Very sad and...

2nd visit to this place and we couldn’t be more disappointed - we experienced horrendous customer service, despite the ridiculous high m-end prices. You’d be forgiven for thinking this place a front for a Sicilian mafia operation. Our extremely rude waiter, ‘Riccardo’, would certainly be more at home on the door of a dodgy nightclub. Funny, because the overly loud dance music being played was straight out of a nightclub. My dining companion observed that Riccardo ‘made a job out of being very sullen’ and ‘ he could at least pretend he doesn’t hate us being here and being here himself’. The entree was slammed down on the table, whilst he looked elsewhere and said nothing, there was no check-back and, after we had finished our mains, Riccardo approached unexpectedly, slammed the bill on the table and simply mumbled ‘we close in 10 minutes’. Forget dessert or coffee. Paying at the till to another employee, there was no enquiry about our experience whatsoever, despite our query whether Riccardo was a family member of the owner. Apparently not, so he presumably got the job through a friend or because he plays other roles for the outfit. Otherwise, no self-respecting caring owner would leave their business in the hands of these clowns. This joint needs exceptional customer service in order to justify the exorbitant prices, not the complete opposite. Incidentally, the restaurant was quiet when we were there, with only one other table of diners.

5 star review left Mid 2023: My mother and I arrived at this place looking for a late lunch around 3:30pm (30 minutes before they closed). Despite the time, Aleisha greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, then provided outstanding friendly and attentive customer service throughout, with the kitchen...
