Been getting pizzas from here for over 10 years…. Good pizzas however the service is absolutely disgraceful….the delivery wait is far too long (even in non season middle of winter) make mistakes on orders and when it arrives is cold ! Last night I ordered at 6:30 for delivery at 7:14pm as shown on receipt, driver turned up at 8:15pm with cold pizzas ! Several phone calls from 7:30pm later they had the audacity to say the driver was there and knocked on the door and no one was home….absolute lie ! Never walked upstairs and knocked at all…. Spoke to the manager who said he would give me 50% off next order I informed him there will not be a next time…after a five minute discussion he said he would give me 1/2 money back. Went to store , saw manager next evening who tried to turn it all around on me…he said the driver knocked on door as he told him he did…I told him that someone was lying either him to me or his employee to him and I know who is correct and it’s neither of them. After a heated discussion to which he tried to give me a lecture and said he never said he would give any money back he relented after I pointed out that lying seemed to be endemic in his establishment and had no idea what customer service is …in the end got money refunded which is in itself an admission. I will NEVER go back and give them my money and strongly suggest no one else does unless they want cold pizza, disgraceful service and being lied too. Read moreRecently, I placed a large order for a function through Xpress Gourmet Pizza Dromana. I encountered an issue when trying to submit my pre-order via the online website. At the checkout stage, I realised I needed to edit the order to remove a pizza. However, when I went back to finalise the checkout, I noticed that while the customised comments section and address fields retained the previous data I had input, the delivery time had reverted to that day rather than the Saturday of the function.
This oversight was on my end for not double-checking the delivery date, but it might be worth reviewing how the website manages retained data during edits. It seemed unusual that some fields kept the customised information while others reset, which could potentially cause confusion for other customers.
Although this was an unfortunate and costly mistake on my part, the manager at the venue was absolutely wonderful to deal with. He was incredibly empathetic and calm when I explained the situation. Both he and his partner went above and beyond, generously offering a significant discount on a re-order for the day of the event. I was genuinely blown away by their kindness and professionalism—such lovely people!
The pizzas were fantastic on the night, and I couldn’t recommend this place...
Read moreWARNING to delivery patrons of Xpress Gourmet Pizza...I am a regular delivery customer and have always had great service and usually good quality pizzas. Tonight though, when the delivery arrived the driver told me that I had to pay him an extra delivery fee on top of the one I already paid on-line. I told him that I had already paid but he said that my suburb was too far - even though the fee is calculated based on where my suburb is. I told him I had never had to pay extra previously and he said it was a new system. Of course I did not pay him but thought I'd warn others of a possible scam by this particular driver. I phoned the restaurant to alert them and spoke to someone named Kishan who claimed to be the manager and owner. He said he would speak to the driver but I was not convinced that he would deal with my concern...
