I see ypu replied to my comment only about the booking nothing to do with the fleas and mites and my son and pill being found and glass broken being told I will get to change rooms due to the fleas nope you lied kept telling manager will come see me he never did you literally treated me and my son like we were trash
I stayed here with my 5 month old baby we had a 1 bed apparment we originally tried to book for a week we were knocked back told unfortunately they were over booked and could only get 6 so unfortunately we could apply for the 7 day discount. On arrival i asked lady at reception if I was able to extend my stay for a extra week and she said yes I then said what I originally tried to book for the 7 night discount but ypu said you were all booked and now your saying your not and you can but you won't do the discount instead they chanrged me a extra 40 on top of what I was paying pre night. On entering the room it smelt and I put bub down to unpack not long after I for my son on floor playing with glass with a pill on his hand in mouth he was bleeding I also passificlly asked cleaner and reception for no room service or house keeping on leaving the room to grab someone to show them the discussing discovery and the damage done to my son due to lack of cleaning on waiting to talk to someone they had hpuse keeping enter my room clean the mess and acted like nothing happen also hpuse keeping rearranged all my person items and also my own person medications yet they didn't do no cleaning of anything else just looked though my belongings and hid there discussing mess that lead my son to injury and also denied me to fill out a injury form or talk to any manager. Later that night my son woke up screaming I chucked him in shower and ther were bed mites fleas and alsorts I call the after hpuse line asking for immediate check out and refund due to serious health affect on my son and lack of care from hotel they told me at 7 am someone would be there to either changed me to a better room and reimbursed me and reissue the rest on our stay was at the most high standards yet I waited all day and called all day no one came manger didn't came I asked front desk the denied knowing and said they will get management to come see and and fix it they never did for 8 days I asked everyday showed them my son getting eaten alive asked them for my money back so I could go take him somewhere that won't harm him they wouldn't help untill manger came witch he never did . I would never recommend this place there rude there's fleas mites mould the cleaners will go though your things and enter your room regardless of DND sign or request and they will also try charge you double every other guest if you complain once as I got told buy starg that there is a weekly rate that all guest get charged of 105 to 110 per nigh Max and they wanted that charged a single mum 180 pernight to 220 with no weekly discount at all and also they didn't give me any reimbursed or refund or changed room or the manger didn't even come see me . I'm the quest hotels claws if any of these problems are to accor and can be proven I'm happy to upload photos times dates and location of photo taken and you can cleanly see the fleas in bath and in bed and the glass pills and allsorts quest will honour a full refund and also upgrade you service for free and treat you to a night on the for the inconvenience and pay for and damages caused or payback any money loss due to there doing. This is there rules there statements yet I got not even a sorry
This is a disgrace to Melbourne's hospitality service and you wonder why crime rate and everything is going up look at the way businesses and massive franchisees now treat paying families with babys

Read moreIn Melbourne for a Xmas break where our original booking elsewhere had fallen through. At short notice there was nothing available (for the next 5 nights) until we contacted Quest Moorabbin. We were after a twin room on the ground floor (both of us are elderly and one has mobility issues). The receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. She had a spare twin room on the first floor but alas there was no lift! Housekeeping had gone home so the spare double room on the ground floor couldn’t be converted that night, but she absolutely assured me they would be able to do so in the morning. We took it. When I arrived (my wife was with her relatives) I was met with a big smile and a hearty welcome from Fida. She was a gem, very helpful and accommodating. She even carried much of my luggage up the stairs and arranged for a discount on the listed tariff. The next day we went out with the secure knowledge that we would be in the downstairs room that night and sure enough around 12 we got a text saying our room was ready and all our luggage had been moved to the new room. I must say, like Fida, all the reception staff we met were great – cheerful and helpful.
The apartment itself was of good quality, was clean and smelt fresh. It was in quite a modern style (minimalist I guess) and glossy black surfaces featured heavily. But it was all solid and quite comfortable; the dining chairs were particularly good. The windows could be opened for fresh air and the curtains were heavy and blocked out the light. The bathroom was clean with no mould but with the ubiquitous tubes of soapy stuff! The beds were comfortable, held no nasty surprises with good mattresses and crisp sheets. There was a small and basic kitchenette with a limited range of cooking utensils, and three sets of glasses (two types), crockery and cutlery. We only had breakfast in the room so didn’t check out the dishwasher and stove. They had a full-size refrigerator, and it worked very well, keeping our food (fruit and milk) cold and providing a plentiful supply of ice.
A couple of minor points. The room had a shower over bath which meant one of us couldn’t shower (we struggled once) but given our desperate situation this was not an issue, but it may be for others under different circumstances. Secondly, my mobile phone is shiny deep black, perfectly camouflaged when sitting on a shiny deep black table. It took me 10 mins one time to find it!
Would I stay there...

You did not ask him to leave, you told him to leave. He did not refuse any attempts to solve problems. Something was wrong with every single room you offered him and he raised this immediately with you but none of your attempts to resolve any issues were successful (e.g. broken heater, fridge, cooktop). This is not something my dad should have to do – it is entirely Quest’s responsibility to ensure every single room open to a guest is up to standard. You only offered my father compensation when he told you that he would escalate this situation to head office or Consumer Affairs Victoria. Only after this did you offer the refund but the conditions were that my dad could not post any further reviews. Offering compensation for a terrible stay at your accommodation does not take my father’s right to complain to the authorities who assess your service quality. Next time, please consider apologising and take accountability rather than blaming your customers for things that are out of their control.
My dad has been staying at Quest for the last 3 weeks. Recently he was moved to a room where the amenities and state of the room was unclean, non-functioning and broken. He used the bathroom and the door had locked him in. He was by himself and stuck there for a very long time. He had to bang against the door several times before the door opened. When he told an employee, she did not apologise, show any kind of empathy or take any action to rectify the situation. My dad was by himself and has asthma. He could not have called for help and this is an extremely dangerous situation for anyone to be in. My dad had not even been informed beforehand that the door was faulty. We are extremely disappointed with the service. We will not be staying here again and will not be recommending Quest to our friends and family. Do not waste your money to stay here - find...
