Read about this place a lot and then we were in area so of course went in for lunch. Sweet jesus the food was excellent. Heaps of vegetarian choices (lasagne, gnocchi, curry, nachos, salads, Falafel, risotto) but settled on vegetarian lentil burger with vegan cheese and chips while husband had fish and chips (barramundi). We loved our meals and the chips were excellent (note I don't want to say I'm a conessuir of chips rather a chip superfan!). Both had coffees (flat white and soy latte) also very good and I also had glass of Swan Bay Prosecco which was delicious, lovely crisp and light and will buy a bottle. Then I had gelati because when we walked in noticed the gelati display case and thought yes please. Had salted caramel, pineapple/coconut and Ferrero Rocher. Delicious, best gelati I've had in ages. Also took home their jam donut because well jam donuts. Arco Bar have live entertainment several nights a week and 2 in particular we really wanted to go to were sold out, Kitty Flanagan and Ol' 55 with Frankie J. Holden and Wilbur Wilde. Ol'55, OnThe Prowl, I loved them! However unfortunately for us like i said, both sold out but plenty more to choose from performing tributes to Elvis, Fleetwood Mac, Billy Joel, Cat Stevens, Bob Marley, Ratpack, Ray Charles, Buddy Holly, ABBA, Johnny Cash and more. Arco Bar has lots of indoor and outdoor dining and is very very popular so we were lucky to get table. We will go again but will always book. Also really friendly waitstaff, thanks Olivia!

Arrived at 10:40am on 22/06/24 with my wife and went inside. Was greeted by an older lady with black hair. My wife said ‘we would just like to sit outside’ and pointed to the tables outside. The lady rudely said ‘well you just pointed to a whole lot of tables’ - and advised us to find a table number and come back inside and order. We would have thought staff would instead seat patrons and provide table service - or at the very least be friendly and not rude. It was also a very quiet Saturday morning. We decided to leave instead due to the rude service. Will not be returning. Reply (25/06/24): Dear Owner, first of all thank you very much for updating your reply from a very immature response of ‘bye bye’. Your updated response however is false. There was one elderly couple sitting outside at 10:40am - all other tables were available. It was far from the scenario you’re attempting to portray (that your cafe was a lot busier than it actually was). I would focus on improving your customer service rather than defensively and immaturely responding to all your negative reviews.

A great experience at Acrobar today. Excellent food, great service and a 5* ambiance. Jenny made our visit special with her hospitality, attention and a positive attitude. It was clear that she wanted us to have a great experience at the restaurant. I wish all restaurants had staff like her. Strangely, one doesn't expect such a refined restaurant close to what is largely an industrial area. All dishes in our meal were delicious. The mushroom Arancini was simply the best. Sticky date pudding is a must try dessert. Penne pasta, chicken wings, potato wedges, chips, garlic pizza everything was great. My only complaint is with the grilled chicken burger and the schnitzel, which both were hard to eat. Chicken was not juicy, and was too dry and hard like a cardboard. The restaurant has so much of space that you can throw a large party there. Live Music is a bonus. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Great venue, tucked away from traffic and residential housing. Kitchen closes early mon-wed as well as drink service, which is a little disappointing if you want to hang for a bit. I believe that's more due to council restrictions. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. There was a slight mix up with my meal but staff rectified it and offered a complimentary coffee. My friend had the lamb souva, it was huge and delicious. I ordered the salmon, it was a little dry but luckily the awesome sauce made up for it. Will definitely go back but probably on a Fri or Saturday night. Oh and the drinks we had, Tequila Sunrise and Aperol Spritz were perfect!

Great night with girlfriends watching Fleetwood Mac cover band called Tusk. Really need a dance floor to make this venue really rock.
