Miss Mavis Cafe — Restaurant in Melbourne

I've been here twice for their pork Banh Mi and the pork Eggs Benedict and I must admit I am so surprised.

For AUD15, the Banh Mi was loaded to the brim with fresh veggies and roast pork, and the hoi sin sauce was a nice touch on top. Even though I thought the pork is more reminiscent of Cantonese roast, it's still magnificent.

Same goes for the eggs benedict, it was elegant, simple and delightful.

The coffee? It was quite alright, I could tell they're not just using simple Arabica beans, or they've tuned the beans to be better suited for a coffee with milk.

Such an amazing cafe. From the second you step into the doors and step back out, you’re in for such friendly and lovely customer service from each staff. Big smiles all around, very helpful and patient with our indecisiveness. Lots of delicious food available, hot food and also cabinet. Sweet treats available too. I had the fried chicken roti toasted and woah that was absolutely divine!! My client enjoyed her savoury muffin. Our coffees and chai were also delicious and hot. Too good!!! Stopped by Miss Mavis in Heatherton for a takeaway coffee and was greeted by a lovely sight; the Birds of Paradise flowers out the front, giving the café a bright and welcoming touch.

The coffee itself was a stronger brew than usual, great if you like a bold kick. If you prefer a smoother, creamier blend, you might want to tweak your order to suit the beans they’re using.
