UPDATE: Its kind of good that the owner replied so everyone knows what we are dealing with here.
first the owner says: i didn’t look for my family’s comfort. ouch! Mate, you can't handle some negative feedback, can you? :D lets not go into what i can afford and not! what we have is a clear misrepresentation of facts. you advertisement right now says for budget queen room-- " Max 3 adults! kids stay free" Haha! attaching the screenshot . pls review your listing if you have not seen it!
second: pls note that not only I was provided with a inconvinient room, the owner told me that he will only provide a bed in the same room which was already cramped. he clearly mentioned that he did not have any other availablity. no upgrade was offered and is just a fake attempt to cover up the shortcommings.
Third: so there were other rooms with split air-conditioning!?? I did not complain when I was there thinking all the rooms were same! wow you just want you customers to assume that the rooms will have a good for nothing air-conditioning if you had got it on a deal? Now i feel more cheated! another mis representation of facts. your rating just went from bad to worse!
Moral from OWNERS REPLY is: This is a budget motel and ANYONE WHO CARES FOR THIER FAMIL'S COMFORT should not book a budget room here! From his reply its clear that the OWNER himself thinks so cheap of his budget queen rooms. customers are stuck once they have booked with them and have no other choice but to suck it up! Nice! Good luck with whatever you are running there!
----‐---‐- I booked a room with large queen bed option but found the bed and rooms to be extremely small. even though you could get an extra bed, there is literally no space to put one. facilities are ok. location is very convenient esp if you have an electric car, chargers are withing 200mtrs. I had pre-paid a room and they have my credit card details. The owner told me that I must provide my passport details, driver licence, and living address. I gave my PO box address, and the owner looked up the address online, saying that he is not happy about this and I must give them my exact living address otherwise they would cancel my stay. It was late night when they threatened to cancel my stay. I had to stand firm and formally tell them that they are breaching privacy rules and I will report them to regulatory authorities if they do this. Eventually, they still forcefully scanned my driver licence to end the argument.
They also tried to misleading me by saying that this is required everywhere in Australia, which is a complete lie! Most places I stayed only need name and credit card, maybe a 100dollar deposit and a postcode, but they do not look up my address and question me why it is a PO box.
