Highly recommended. I have stayed at the Bishops Lodge Narrandera a few times for work now and I would also stay here on leisure travels. This is now my goto home in this area. The owners and operators are absolutely lovely, honest and sincere and do a stellar job at providing the best customer service possible. They honestly go out of their way to make your stay comfortable - you can see this in many of the positive reviews, and I agree with them. Melissa and staff have been super flexible with my checkin/out times when I had some work issues to deal with. Last stay they even put a couple of my ice bricks in their freezer for a good freeze when I arrived on a hot day although the supplied fridge is better than the average motel - its actually a decent undercounter domestic fridge with a good ice box, its not a bar fridge. Standout attributes: Surprisingly respectable kitchen arrangement with good counter space - larger than many motels. Kettle, toaster, coffee, tea, cups glasses plates bowls knife & forks, large flip top bin. Good domestic fridge with decent ice box, looks new. Good microwave, good size, powerful. Good reverse cycle AC, quiet, powerful, looks quite new. Good smart TV (or very large PC monitor lol). Extremely comfortable bed, quiet, dark (block out curtains), double powerpoints both sides of bed and light switch. I love that all 4 of my devices automatically connect to the wifi from my 1st stay. Saves a lot of hassle. I measure peak hour bandwidth at 11MBPS down and up. Other great points: Large king room (guessing ~40m2). I believe some rooms have lounges, bath tubs, spa's if needed. Clean, fresh, good parking, convenient - stones throw from the high street with all amenities. Continental breakfast provided and its actually quite a good setup, seems quite generous (see other reviews for photos). I've popped in there to have a look but carry my own food. Swimming pool and BBQ area. Can see myself with a red sharing stories with travellers. Good bathroom, plenty of hot water and pressure. Full mirrors, good lighting and ventilation (often not the case with motels), plenty of plug sockets, steam iron, proper ironing board, good hanging space, not filled with silly leaflets and loos signage that you need to move out the way to work and no bare brick walls (boy do I find those depressing)!

Traveling 1800km taking it day by day means motel bookings tend to be last minute. So at our stopover in Parkes I found this place which looked like it would fit the bill. It even included breakfast. Thinking no more of it we started our drive. 40 minutes out there were thunderstorms in the distance. My 'phone rang shortly after and it was the motel asking if we were okay and warned us that the storms were severe. Fortunately we timed it so we missed all the nasty stuff and checked in. The room was spacious, warm, and more than adequate for the night. We expected breakfast to be cereal in a plastic dish but were pleasantly surprised at the offering. Cereals, fresh local bread, pancakes, juice, tea, and coffee. It's not often you pick up a win like this place.

Excellent 3 star motel, comfortable bed, fabulous strong water pressure in the shower, spacious room we had on the ground level with car parking at the door. Friendly staff and continental breakfast included. Variety of breads available to toast, Gluten free cereals available as well as regular cereal, tea and coffee juices, Yoghurt, diced fruit and a pancake machine! Quiet location too. Recommend

Stayed here for one night while in the area.||Location is at the top end of town and very quiet.||Check in was a breeze with the friendly reception lady and after I booked in found out they took the stay NSW voucher although not mentioned or shown anywhere when we booked in. As I had already paid I was advised that she would check with management and credit me back with the Visa payment I made and take the vouchers in the morning which is what happened.||This accommodation has both downstairs and upstairs accommodation. We stayed downstairs with parking directly out the front.||The unit had a queen Bed good size room with Tea/Coffee, Toaster, kettle and fridge with fresh milk.||There was a basin in the main room as no room in the bathroom.||Bathroom had a good size shower with Glass door and toilet.||Dinner was had at the Serviceman's Club in town about a 10 minute walk away.||Bonus was the free continental breakfast in the morning there was cereal, fruit, yogurt and an awesome pancake machine plus the usual...

Stayed for one night on a trip from Melbourne to Brisbane. The motel is off the main road and down a side street, so no traffic noise. 2 story building with a ramp to the bottom floor. Rooms down below have a view of a retaining wall. That being said, the room was neat and clean. Nothing flash but comfortable. Microwave and cutlery, tea making facilities provided. The bathroom sink is located on the kitchenette so you wash your hands and brush your teeth in the main room. Bathroom has a shower and toilet, towels and basic toiletries. It smelled of bleach which I felt meant it was well cleaned. Bed was comfortable, large wall mounted TV, free wifi and reverse cycle air conditioning. Free breakfast in motel dining room. Friendly staff, cost $125, I...
