We returned to this busy and recommended spot for lunch once the hustle and bustle and noise had died down. The Earl Grey tea was fabulous. More like French Earl Grey. Commented to a tall gentleman who was as clearing tables on how good it was. Our meals arrived and my husbandās prawn linguine smelled delicious and he ate every last bit. I had the beef and cashew salad. Great colours and freshness. Fabulous except for the beef. Every mouthful was dry and chewy and every mouthful required me to remove the gristle and pop it on my napkin. I left the dining area to go to the bathroom - leaving the plates at our table stacked and the 15 or so pieces of chewed gristle on my napkin. Same guy I praised on the tea collected the plates but he couldnāt be bothered with the feedback. My husband then approached another staff member to see what her response would be, but all he got from her was some chat about the butcher. What I will do next time - is return my lunch for something else or request my money back. You know darned well when you cut and cook steak if there is gristle - why serve itā¦. At top...
