The Early Opener – a hidden gem in Narrandera! Tucked away at the top end of Narrandera’s main street, The Early Opener is one of those spots that looks unassuming from the outside… until you step inside and get greeted by a whirlwind of cheek and mischief. The shopfront and interior are spotless, but honestly, I barely noticed because we were immediately roped into the banter between the two staff. The girls were friendly, hilarious, and clearly masters of giving each other, and the customers, a hard time in the best possible way. We placed our orders and planted ourselves at an indoor table to escape the cold wind. Our Snitty Burger and Double Bacon & Beef Burger arrived hot and fresh, cooked to order despite the cook’s declaration that she was “on strike”! The burgers were the perfect size, served on Turkish bread that wasn’t too ‘bready’ like a regular bun—delicious. Coffee-wise, the froth was a little on the shy side, but honestly, it was barely noticeable compared to the rest of the experience. The value for money was excellent. As first-time visitors, we were treated just like regulars. One gentleman even had his hot drink prepared the moment he walked in, no words necessary. Called in for a coffee after seeing great reviews. The lady serving us seemed very rushed, although there were no other customers. We sat out on the footpath as we had our pooch. My husband ordered a double shot cappuccino in a small cup. It was delivered in a huge cup which must have been a mug, no froth, so spilt everywhere when placed on the table. It was so scorched, and had a burnt coffee taste and was just bloody horrible. He couldn't drink it. I hope the lady was just having a bad day and that your coffee's are usually...

Circumstances changed and was unable to get a cake from where they are generally brought from for occasions. Enquired by Facebook page on Monday this week knowing it was a long shot to get a cake by Wednesday. Fortunately for us a cancellation occurred and a delicious Fantale Fairy Cake was available to be picked up on the Wednesday.!!
