Stomach churning food. This had got to be The Worst Chinese restaurant in Australia.
Stopped in to get some take away after a long days drive. Chinese are usually a reasonable bet. Wrong.
Counter staff next to hopeless. Asked if the had a house specially, a careless wave over the menu and "whaddaya feel like its all here". No vegetable dishes.
The spring rolls looked and tasted like they'd recovered them from the dregs in the dishwasher, they were so soggy they literally fell apart. At the very least they had been cooked in mutton fat, then microwaved because they couldn't be arsed actually filling an order with freshly made food.
The Mongolian or Szechwan beef dish was again cooked in mutton fat dripping, totally greasy and fatty, with a bit of powdered child turned through it.
All carelessly reheated because no one in this restaurant actually gives a damn.
When I need to throw up shortly, I shall do so in the doorway of the now-closed restaurant.
Do yourselves a favour and AVOID. Try the pub across the road which apparently does good counter meals.
Note: the only reason this gets one star is because you can't give a zero star rating. My rating of this...

The waiter was a legend, the food flew out of the kitchen at a lightning pace and into our bellies (prawn toast was impeccable and the sweet and sour pork was simply yum) and we dined to the sweet sounds of peace and quiet (which was a welcome change from the nightclub atmosphere of some restaurants). All of this packeged in a time capsule from the 80s.
So if you're craving a bitta' chinese with the locals of Narrandera, do yourself a favour and pop on over to Hing Wah Restaurant....

The service is impeccable. Even if my buddy and I had different ideas about food timing.
The food came out and the special fried rice and beef in plum sauce was just awesome. Hot and just what I needed after a long day.
The combination Satay my buddy ordered, not so much. Sometimes, it just happens to be not up to standard for whatever reason.
The staff were quick to resolve and went above and beyond. Lots of apologies.
