Boomerang Way Tourist Park — Hotel in Tocumwal

I went to Tocumwal to visit family with my 2 children (3 year old girl and 6 year old boy) It was our first time visiting and the Boomerang Tourist Park was perfect in the town. My kids loved the park. The bunk beds were a win. It was clean and tidy in the cabin. The kids loved riding their bikes and scooters in the park and up to the local shops and splash park. The locals and other guests loved seeing them enjoying the sun. My daughter even pushed her doll and pram around. We enjoyed going for a dip in the park pool and having a great play in the play ground. It was quiet and we found it enjoyable. We even experienced the camp kitchen at the front near the pool and it was nice stay.|The staff were friendly and extremely knowledgeable on the local surrounds outside the park. We stayed at this park in January 2024 just after new years/Christmas. We were travelling around with our 3 year old daughter and dog. As it was so hot during this period we did a night in one of the cabins, which was nice and clean and provided everything we needed.

Then the following nights we were staying in our tent. This camp sites are nice and clean, and also grassy at most. (At least they’re trying to maintain the grass).

The facilities are clean and well kept too.

The reason I’ve come back here almost a year later to review this park is because we just visited Tocumwal again, but stayed at the Ingenia Murray bend park just out of town, which is outrageously expensive and a complete rip off compared to this beautiful little park. It was extremely dusty, had almost no grass and overall was poorly maintained with rubbish everywhere and old dirty amenities.

2nd time in going to the park, unfortunately new owners and managers, demanding full payment 4 weeks in advance even though we all left a deposit for 3 weeks stay, was told no refunds at all if an emergency came up unless your booking can be booked from someone else matching your dates was told to take out travel insurance omg unreal we are not travelling overseas , on arrival seeing the park was an eye sore not much green grass left ,not once did we see any one mow or water at all, toilet blocks were always filthy never mopped or swept, swimming pool was also dirty , can’t understand why would you buy the caravan park and let the park go that way it was very Sad , even to the point where the annuals are the mess in that section was unbelievable, I hope the management pull there finger out if you expect people to come and you demand full...
