Boambee Bay resort
A fantastic resort. About the best you can stay in for adults and kids. It’s neat and orderly with great rooms and terrific facilities inside and out. It’s right on the water, both the estuary and the beach are within a stone’s throw. You have a superb surrounding area in easy reach from this resort.
We stayed in a two bedroom unit, number 1008. The unit was just the right size for us and our friend and it’s mighty cleverly laid out. The separation between the two bedrooms is fantastic. The bathrooms and spaces in the way mean you can barely hear anything between the two rooms. The living room is fine too as is the kitchen and dining area. There’s everything you could want here. We loved the screened in porch at the back to sit in day and night.
We loved the layout and facilities here. The mini golf course is a real cracker. Beware the perilous second hole! The pool and spas are nice too. There is also a nicely appointed gym.
The staff at this resort are fantastic. They are lovely people and very chatty and helpful. Every dealing we had with them was great. They keep the resort in superb condition. It was immaculate inside and out. The rooms were spotless. The grounds looked superb the whole time we were there.
There are very few downsides to the place. There was no air conditioning in the room but it certainly wasn’t needed when we were there. The prevailing light breezes were enough through the front door and screened in porch. There was a ceiling fan anyway in our room if we needed it. The car spaces are a bit tight but perfectly manageable. In the end, we loved the resort so much we could only think of one tiny suggested improvement. I’m only raising it so I can raise something. We thought the supplied drinking glasses in the unit were a bit too small. They don’t hold enough and we recommend that new ones be purchased at some stage in the future.
Overall we really really liked this place. It’s the best of all the time shares we’ve stayed on. We had a great time here and in Coffs, Sawtell, Nambucca Heads etc etc. it’s a great area and this is the perfect base from which...
Read moreWe are staying in the two bedroom self contained units with dishwasher and ensuite. The accommodation is perfect. Resort facilities with pool, spa, sauna, gym, restaurant, bar, playground, tennis court, mini golf, basket ball hoop, bbqs and games room. This isn't what makes the resort special or stand out though. Its the position. Backing onto a gorgeous channel thats great for fishing, swimming and kayaking which you can hire from reception. Perfect for a family holiday. If you want to get away without the kids choose outside of school holidays as it is very popular with people with kids. All the shops you could need just around the cornor and only 10mins from attractions like dolphin magic and the big banana fun park although only a 4 star I would rate it 5. Staff are friendly. Waterdragons patrol the whole resort with the odd bush...
Read moreWe arrived two days late after a long drive and were welcomed by friendly staff members Barry & J 2. The politeness & friendliness every guests wants to be greeted by when they arrive after a long journey. A quick check-in procedure, information about the resort & surroundings was given. Our renovated unit was clean and inviting with lovely views. As accommodation operators ourselves, credit to the cleaning staff and to the management for keeping up with the maintenance & renovations. You can enjoy everything the resort offers and within minutes be walking by the lake, into Sawtell town centre via the solitary Islands coastal walk. The views of the 🌊 ocean will be a memorable experience. We will definitely be back next year provided they have vacancy. A beautiful 😍 ⛵ resort which caters for...
