On December 30th, 2019, I was waiting in line to order my food from here. As it is school holidays and there are lots of people around, I waited my turn ready to order my food. The Manager acknowledged me and said won't be a minute as she was making some orders previously to mine. When the manager came back, she began to serve 5 different customers their orders even though I was at the counter waiting to get served myself. I said "I was the next in line" and she said "you weren't at the counter waiting to be served when I got back" (even though I was standing their and got acknowledged by the girl making the coffees).

Best donuts in town. The thickshakes are great if you can actually get a decent one. I've ended up with a milkshake instead many times. They don't always give the 2 cinnamon donuts for $2 extra with any drink when the sign states they do, therefore i get charged twice as much. Today asked for an extra thick thickshake and the girl who served me didn't hide her annoyance at my simple request.

Anyhoo, depending on who's serving at DK (there's 2 who really look like they'd rather be elsewhere and aren't pleasant at all) I'll go to Muffin Break as they do great thick shakes too and the service is way better and their scones and...

Ordered 12 hot mini donuts. Staff forgot to tell me that had to make a new mixture until I enquired how long my order for 12 mini donuts would be. I patiently waited. Order was finally handed to me.... with an apology for the delay. I received 12 large donuts. I explained I ordered mini donuts. I'm not sure what frustrated me more. The wait, the lack of communication or the staff member constantly checking her phone. I gifted the excess donuts to a lady with grandchildren. The donuts were hot, fresh and yummy.
