Hotel Lisa — Hotel in Flachau

Great location only 40 mins or so drive from Salzburg or very cheap ski bus to and from Salzburg. Pretty hotel a few yards from ski hire, lift, restaurants. Hotel Lisa has charming staff who can't do enough for you. The room we had was spacious, warm, quiet and very comfortable. The spa area is great with grotto showers, a wonderful sauna and a steam room. However! There is smoking allowed in the bar and generally it seemed throughout the hotel. I'm not sure what the EEC ruling is on this but if you;re a non smoker, then the smell is unbearable, the bar is a no go area and the heavy smell of cigarettes along the landings is really unwelcome. This is my only complaint and why I am not giving 5. Oh - one other thing - they don't do dinner in the evening despite having a really nice large dining room which is used for breakfast only. It would be nice after a day on the mountain to be able to slip downstairs and have supper without noggin up to trek out again! ||The hotel did have wifi but it didn't extend...

I stayed with just my father for 3 nights at Hotel Lisa in early March. The room was comfortable and had a lovely view. There was no bath in the room and the shower wasn't too big but it was very powerful. |The staff were very friendly, remembering which room we were in, our breakfast order, our drinks order. They really were great.|Breakfast was really good, lots of choice and all delicious. There was also an afternoon snack between 3 and 5 which was a nice perk.|We had an issue with noise from other hotel guests but nothing really too bad, just young lads being young lads!|Great location right next to the big Cable Car (achterjet) making skiing exceptionally easy. |They have a small spa in the basement with a sauna and steam room, waterfall shower and wellness cabin. They also offer treatments for around the same price as England. There is no jacuzzi but it is really nice down there.|Would definitely stay there again, great staff...

We spent three nights there as part of the wedding party. The hotel is family-run and very friendly. The decor is modern "traditional" but tastefully done with lots of wood, and the breakfast buffet is very good. I imagine that it could be noisy in winter season but we found it quite peaceful. Why 5 stars? The staff were so good and helpful and really made us feel welcome; nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely find a reason to go back!||You need to go out for dinner - Flachau has several good options within...
