Flachauer Gutshof - Musistadl — Restaurant in Flachau

Went there for silvester and it was a fun evening. The location is quite cozy and was not overcrowded.

Until then the entree fee of 25,- was okay.

Later we recognized the waiters who were overworked - one brought all the food to the same table although the guests mentioned they already had their dinner.

We waited about 1 hour to order our food. Meanwhile my little niece fetched some dessert from the kids buffet and when we ordered food our waitress said, she already had something from the buffet, so we needed to decide if she wants food from the buffet or the menu - and she has to invoice that dessert.

We waited another hour for our food. At our table we all had a main course, many drinks, a small bottle of sparkling wine and as we ordered a bottle of water the waitress mentioned we have to pay for it.

All of us know new years eve is a special evening and there are looooads of people, but we thought we would be treated good and the staff would be quick and...

Tried the evening buffet service and found the food selection and service to be very good. For example the salad bar had a good selection including nicely presented fish and sliced cold cuts. The carvery service offered several choices for the main course. The deserts again were well presented catering to all kinds of taste. The "Frutti di bosco" proved to be the perfect end to our meal. Tolle Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Essen - ein MUSS in Flachau! Ich war jetzt 2 Jahre hintereinander hier, habe letztes Jahr sogar dort Geburtstag gefeiert, was eine Besonderheit ist, denn man bekommt für alle Gäste die Steaks zum halben Preis! Und wenn wir schon beim Essen sind: es ist wirklich "saugut" auf Deutsch gesagt. Es gibt keine Speise zu bemängeln. Man könnte bzw. muss es sogar "gehobenere" Hausmannskost nennen. Wie der Name schon sagt, es ist ein uriges, holziges Lokal. Besonders hat es mir heuer oben auf dem Heuboden gefallen. Es ist dunkler, leiser und es gibt ein köstliches Buffet! Viel Platz vor allem! Eine kleine Spielecke oder Malsachen für Kinder würden alles abrunden und vermutlich die Eltern noch zufriedener machen. Die Kellner sind alle top, zuvorkommend, gut geschult - keine Aushilfe, wie in vielen anderen umgebenden Lokalen. Man wird hier gut ver- und umsorgt. Auf jeden Fall ein Muss, wenn man in Flachau ist! Des weiteren natürlich das Musistadl als solches, mit Musik und Tanz und Live-Auftritten - sowieso ein Hammer und ganz tolle Stimmung! Sogar in der Nebensaison viel los und nie langweilig.
