Exceptional Value and Warm Hospitality at Hotel Montana Our stay at Hotel Montana in Austria was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and welcoming. Their genuine hospitality made our vacation truly special. The hotel's location is a dream for skiers – situated directly on the ski slope, access couldn't be easier. The dedicated ski and boot storage, complete with boot driers, was a huge plus. We also appreciated the convenience of the nearby bus stop, which allowed us to easily explore the town and other ski areas without needing to drive. The hotel's own car park was also extremely useful. What truly impressed us was the impeccable cleanliness. Hotel Montana is spotless! Even compared to high-end 5-star hotels, the level of tidiness was remarkable. The cozy, old-school charm of the hotel created a warm and inviting atmosphere. While not the most modern, it's undeniably comfortable and full of character. The hotel's amenities are outstanding for the price. The 10-meter indoor swimming pool is a great size, and the sauna, steam room, sun-bed, UV sauna, and relaxation areas provided ample opportunities to unwind after a day on the slopes. I have been here many times and come back - in my case for work! The place is so well maintained, the food good, the location perfect. The pool wonderful for a relaxing swim. And all the time, smiling and helpful hosts. I have only two minor issues: The internet is terrible even close to the reception, and for some mysterious reason: If there is more than one drop left of your shampoo from the day before, they will not resupply. I have no idea why, but I have observed it again and again. But I still come back ... no...

This was our fourth stay in this hotel, and everytime again, we are amazed by the helpfulness of the staff (they are GREAT!), the excellence of the food and the excellent spa!!! The rooms are ok (not very large, but then, when you go on a skying holiday, its not to stay in your room) and the location is conveniently situated on the slopes (you will need to walk a bit if you want to take the Kanzelwandbahn).
