B&B HOTEL Linz City-Ost — Hotel in Linz

My family and I stayed at this hotel and were given an absolutely unacceptable room. Very hot room with very little airflow and the room smelt skunky. I presume it’s from a leak they had on the top floor as the hallway carpet looked all water stained. The pull out bed for my kids was janky with an insanely thin mattress and the foot of the bed was 6” higher than the head. I went down to speak to the front desk who are apparently the owners and when I asked for an alternate room. They were immediately rude and said this is not possible and continued to keep cutting me off. They said I didn’t pay enough for the room as they only charged 50% for each of my children. Very rude couple that own this property. Also, they requested cash upon checkin to pay the hotel taxes which in retrospect was probably them gouging us for extra cash to pocket. Suggest you stay somewhere else that understands what basic hospitality is and appreciates...

Prielmayerhof is not a "complementary four star hotel". I don't recommend it to anyone The reasons as follows:

Rude, not professional nor people friendly, dishonest, greedy & disrespectful male receptionist Small rooms and not even soundproof. Keep in mind, that's its stated that ALL ROOMS ARE SOUNDPROOF Uncomfortable beds Rooms had bad Odors Inedible food. bugs found inside The "room service" - the food tray is placed on the sleeping beds No tea making facility in any rooms Parking garage is overly priced Breakfast buffet could be better. No A/C . It was broken and never been fixed- since the first day Bad weather conditions- tv will not work.
